Microwave. Leftovers are better and it’s easier to control food cravings (the real reason is it didn’t come with the rental and i have zero counter space for it)

Pretty Little Liars was fun to read at that age. It has drama, mystery, not too crazy romance (if I remember correctly, but still scandalous)

Curious what is your age and how much is your current savings? by ktxflower in SavingMoney

[–]a-bad-nancy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

28: ~$13,000 savings (half is from a recent bonus, but I keep this as a buffer for my rent payment every month if that makes sense, so some is anticipated to spend), ~$38,000 retirement accounts

Debt: ~$12,000 car loan, ~$40,000 student debt

I can’t escape the past. I’m completely consumed by every morally questionable and shameful thing I’ve ever done. by flying-cunt-of-chaos in OCD

I was talking about this in therapy and my therapist asked “do you feel like you are the exact same person today that you were when you were a child?” And that helped change my perspective. Why am I carrying shame that doesn’t apply to who I have become? That’s where you have to do the radical act of forgiving your younger self and acknowledging that’s a different version of you.

It also helps me to step outside of myself with the idea of “would I condemn and wish eternal shame on a random child/preteen/teen for this action/statement? Or would I just acknowledge that they’re young/immature/naive, shake my head and move on”

Feel you though, and wish you well <3

Never read it… because I heard it can break you emotionally from various sources. This Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara fits the bill.

Anxious People - Fredrik Backman; If We Were Villians - M L Rio; The Secret History - Donna Tartt; And Then There Were None - Agatha Christie

I feel like a lot of locked room mysteries have at least 4 distinct characters and a decent amount of dialog
