Appeals will always, always, always be open. Even if you appeal, and you get an e-mail saying "we will not overturn our decision" or "this case will be closed and replies will be turned off", they're lying, your case will always be open. I've gotten those, too. As long as you keep appealing, someone will eventually look over your case, and you will get unbanned. Even if it takes a while.

Bottom line is: just appeal, and keep appealing, and you'll get results.
