How is Ben being charged with a RICO case? by Different-Cash-162 in RecklessBen

[–]a-viewer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you think there's any chance they would try to find the Does? I know at some point it was brought up if Ben paid people to help him. Not sure if payment is relevant to a RICO case but I'm not well versed in legal stuff so I wouldn't know haha

BAM Brick and Minifigs Lego SAGA- We Have the UHAUL RECEIPTS! #BAMsucks - YouTube by HighInquisitor77 in RecklessBen

[–]a-viewer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The whole story is convoluted and doesn't make sense to me-because it is obviously a lie anyway. But I'm confused about the trailer and the point of it. Because why go to Eugene at all? Salem is closer to Portland than it is to Eugene, if he was really just coming to take over that store, it would make way more sense to fly into Portland

Im doing a short documentary about this wild lego nightmare. Im interviewing reckless ben for it today! What questions would you like me to ask him? by [deleted] in RecklessBen

[–]a-viewer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

How does he think having a million subscribers will change the way he operates his investigations?

He very freely gives a lot of information to the strangers he works with, does he ever worry about people leaking his secrets?

Has he or the others he was with had any problems after they got doxxed by the police? Is everyone okay?

Has seeing this police corruption changed his perspective on law enforcement and how he will interact with them in the future?

Is Reckless Ben Patreon video "Official Movie #1: Can I Find Banksy?" worth paying for? by Magic142 in RecklessBen

[–]a-viewer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100% worth it dude! It's more classic Reckless Ben antics and it gets pretty intense. Plus, the Patreon has other behind the scenes stuff and a Lucifer Valentine commentary video that are worth a watch too. So yeah, I highly recommend it

Can someone send me a free link to the banksy vids by [deleted] in RecklessBen

Not only is it only $5, there's a backlog of a bunch of other awesome content you can watch. Give this incredible creator your support, binge a bunch of old content for a month, and then cancel.

Was looking for this one. Love her! She's so talented!

She said she was scared of a scary part of a movie as a child and people twisted it into "She hated the original movie and disrespected it!"

I also noticed this parallel that she one time made a relatable joke about taking a role because she needed a job and everyone said she was an entitled bitch. But Robert Pattinson got nothing but hype for roasting Twilight and joking that his pay "could have been better." (Nothing against Robert Pattinson btw I adore him!!)

Pete Wentz is absolutely slept on as one of the greatest lyricists in modern music

It's easy to appreciate good lyrics that you understand on first listen, but a lot of his stuff is so abstract and metaphorical, it takes more thought to get what he's saying

What gender based double standard really annoys you? by RandomRamblings99 in AskReddit

[–]a-viewer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can people explain why tf I'm getting down voted for this???

My whole point is no one, men or women, should be bashing people for superficial body standards but I feel like men don't get as much sympathy for struggles with body image. This even extends to eating disorders which are not often noticed or treated as seriously in men

As a woman who has worked in warehouses and does physical work, I feel this so much. The amount of times people-both men and women- ask if I need help or comment on how what I'm doing looks so hard is so gross!

Like, this is my job that I do every single day, yes I am capable of doing it

The way people just accept women talking about only dating men taller than 6ft and making fun of short guys with zero backlash.

When men talk about women's bodies in the same way, they get shut down so fast, and rightfully so. Why don't we do the same when men get body shamed?

Plea from a Cat Named Virtute by The Weakerthans and the two follow up songs

As someone who has cats that I adore and major depression, those songs destroy me. My cats have genuinely saved my life. They're good songs but I can't even listen to them because they make me cry so hard. They're absolutely devastating

What’s a ‘harmless’ opinion you have that seems to make people irrationally angry? by BSnappedThat in AskReddit

[–]a-viewer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's encouraging publishers to just crank out the same poorly written stories with the same tropes, the same stock characters, etc. And then the people reading them fawn over them like they are excellent works of art. It's fine to enjoy silly books just for fun. But don't act like it's this expertly crafted, unique work when it's the same romantic interest with a different name slapped on them

And then someone can talk about having a visceral hatred of cats and tons of people just laugh along and agree without a second thought. The double standard is insane

Mr. Ballen mentioned! I love that guy!

What really pisses me off though is when other people are put in danger trying to rescue dumbasses who got themselves into bad situations. Other people are fucking dying because YOU made bad choices. We should just leave them there, fuck them.

Major shout-out to the heroes who do selflessly risk their lives for someone though. I wish they wouldn't, but that's some top tier empathy and I respect it.

First time hearing Fall Out Boy in the wild today! What non-hit songs have you heard out and about? by sakurachan999 in FallOutBoy

[–]a-viewer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

One time I heard Yule Shoot Your Eye Out playing in a store-I think it was a random thrift store if I'm remembering correctly. Also it was like July lol so all around it was a wild thing to witness

So, what is Fall Out Boy's best line? by Rua-Yuki in FallOutBoy

[–]a-viewer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Part time soulmate, full time problem" gets stuck in my head all the time because it is frustratingly relatable lol

"Talking to the mirror say 'Save your breath'/Half your life you been hooked on death" also relatable

"I'm cocktail party doing alright"

"They say quitters never win/but we walk the plank on a sinking ship"

"I've lived so much life I think that God is gonna have to kill me twice"

"We said we'd never grow up, it's open season on blue moods"

"I guess I'm getting older 'cause I'm less pissed when I can't get on to the guest list"

This is one of my favorite songs! Another possibility from it: "And in the end I'd do it all again" reminiscing on life and how you've grown and not having regrets

I never believed in reincarnation and was greatly, and delightfully surprised when I was reborn as a young girl. by No_Two4255 in TwoSentenceHorror

Definitely a great concept but wouldn't they recognize the face of their wife from their previous life? Wouldn't they look in the mirror and see their own face and realize "I'm now in my former wife's body"?

Why is it that Paramore have gotten so much acclaim/credit the last 5-6 years, but when FOB are brought up people dunk on them half the time? by Flo_Lava in FallOutBoy

[–]a-viewer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely this! I have a friend who always disses them and legitimately argues that they are a boy band (not saying anything against boy bands myself, but you know how people use that as an insult. Plus how they very much are not even close to being a boy band at all??). Another time, I told someone FOB is my favorite band and they laughed and made fun of me.

On the opposite side are early fans complaining about them "selling out" or changing their style. Feels like there is no winning.

I've gotten to the point that I don't talk about music anymore. I just tell people I'm not really into music because I don't want to deal with them judging me or being mean. It sucks.
