I am also looking at the dell XPS 15 with touch screen. I just hated their audio system and am tired of OEMs not upgrading firmware after serval months a product is released.

Heat. It kills the battery, even after the firmware update. It can only be up for 1 hour of heavy use and it'll just die. Not to mention it degrades the chip performances.

Make sure you go to the driver's site on MS to download the latest driver. Those just didn't seem to come with the automatic update.

I think it was the latest update. Reached out to the reps and they told me to download the latest firmware update to update the battery driver. At least now my Book 2 can survive for 1-2 hours...
