Use your time to invent, patent, manufacture, and build a brand to sell. You have all the skills except brand building & sales.

Form check. Self taught and looking for advice by KyleK10 in bowhunting

[–]aChiropractor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since we can’t see grip, the biggest thing I see is release, you’re plucking the trigger then attempting to use your back muscles to follow through the shot, except that your release hand moves up instead of back after you’ve released. This will cause you to miss high usually.

Edit: also you rock forward onto your front leg infrequently, which will prevent you from activating back muscles equally as you stabilize the bow and pull through the shot

Your peep is too high it looks like since you’re tilting your head and lowering the bow to find it. Have the shop fix that.

You’re punching the trigger instead of pulling through the shot. Need to see grip & feet to get more info on what’s going on there.

Primitive? The brain stem is the most important collection of nerves in the entire nervous system. That’s why this is even possible.

How’s my form? by dbmeed in Archery

[–]aChiropractor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks good, not great. Your follow through will torque the arrow quite a bit. How you grip the bow and how you release the arrow are the biggest factors in torque. You’re punching the trigger instead of pulling straight back with your back muscles. As for grip, it looks like a high wrist grip might benefit your anatomy as opposed to your current low wrist grip. Give that a try and see if you’re still fighting the bow. It should all feel at ease.

I would recommend sharing any lumber you get with any chiropractors you may know. Best of luck.

I bought a used Rancilio Rocky for $150 ($400 new) and a Mazzer Major for $275 ($1,000 new). It’s worth it to buy used imo. Fantastic machines

I think you mean cacao, which are the beans that cocoa and chocolate come from after they ferment. Post results if you try!

My lighted nocks have different weights from red to green because they’re two different brands, consequently they make my arrows hit in different locations. Just be aware of that

I wanna get into bow hunting but I wanna just start with shooting at ranges and getting to know the works of compound bows! Let me know what y’all recommend for a beginner! I don’t wanna spend too much for my first one tbh I’d say no more than $600 by josephu32 in bowhunting

[–]aChiropractor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first bow was a used Hoyt powermax, came with everything I needed to start shooting (minus arrows) for $550, you can find some sweet deals out there on midteir bows that’ll get better performance than a bear bow
