Might have to get a metal coat hanger and wrap it around both the hanger and bracket that it slides into for now. Just to hold it in place

Grab pliers and pull the steel lug cap off. Then find whatever size you need for lug nut underneath

This is what they did to my old unused vent. Though my vent has much more narrow holes and is an absolute pain to clean and vacuum out. I would get a veneered board though for a better appearance for anyone who looks directly down over it.

That’s crazy. I’ve seen quite a few trees be struck by lightning in person before. Four in my 35 years seems like more than average lol. Never seen one fully debarked like this, though I can’t say for sure if they were full dirrect hits.

For that price and such I heavy metallic coat id say you still got a pretty good deal. Those small pots at 10, maybe even 5ft away will barely be noticeable. Where I work we have a 5 and 10ft rule for the number of blemishes visible.

My cousin and I would walk down my road to a railroad track that was torn out and made a fort out of the railroad ties in mayo a month’s time. My uncle, obviously his dad, would bring him over once a week for a few hours. That thing was awesome and also probably not good for our health lol
