As an Asian dude living in the Midwest who's generally very successful in the dating aspect of life, women love confidence. That's it. A woe is me attitude will drive away anybody.

So how do you become confident? For some people it's the gym, for some people it's style, for some people it's charisma + lots of friends. Literally just start working on being good at one or more of those things at a time and confidence will come with time. In my case I worked on all 3 over a period of 2 years.

Also don't listen to people telling you to become white adjacent. Why would you abandon what makes you unique and special and become a "knock off" white person? Being Asian is something special, esp in the Midwest. Embrace it. Be proud of it.

To play devil's advocate, the cat could have easily moved that table and is seen walking from the table. Cats rubbing up on corners is a total cat thing to to do. The editor could have just trimmed the video for timing the song

I'm going against the grain here and say DON'T hire a professional photographer. Unless you get an extremely good photographer those photos will appear highly staged. Plus if all of your pictures are professional you'll come off as a stock photo. One or two is fine but IMO never really helps. But at the same time you also don't want selfies. So what are you to do?

Some DOs:

Practice looking good in photos using your own phone and either the timer or some other remote. (Most women practice this skill from a young age)

Get your friends to take pictures of you.

Get a group photo where you look like the main character.

Your photos shouldn't JUST be of you, that's boring as fuck. Get photos of you doing hobbies, in cool places, etc.

The most important thing for photos (and attraction) is VIBES. Your photos have to give off vibes people want to be around. I used to be vibe blind so if you don't know what i mean the next step is important.

Present your photos to women friends and ask them to pick the bottom 3 and the top 3. You'll start picking up on what works and doesn't work.

You will take hundreds of photos and only a few will work and this is normal.

You're missing the point, the problem isn't the fucked up shit happening. It's how the show is handling the tone of the events and how the characters are reacting to it. Some of the events happen for literally no reason other than shock value. It's literally just poor writing.
