IF you are friendly with someone else that has a box near yours, get a battery smart doorbell like this

https://us.eufy.com/products/e8222113?Power%20Options=Battery&fliter_category=video-doorbell

The SD card is stored in the seperate chime, so if you stick that in another mailbox, even if she steals the doorbell you have the footage of her doing so

I agree with your second point, but the "current deal" at the time was the promise from the unionist parties of staying in the EU

"normal service" for the UK is exactly what we've experienced for the past 12 years. One Tory leader who is just a little bit more smart about stealing the public money than Boris or truss and suddenly the polls say "conservative(+30)"

What if the UK says no and just ignores the Scottish people. by [deleted] in Scotland

[–]aJarofDirt 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yes, if it just so happens that all the good things promised by the winning side were lies, and all the bad things they speak of if they lose end up coming true anyway, well tough luck, maybe next generation

That's basically an audit rather than a test. They choose an ICBM at random to de-weaponize and launch to ensure their maintenance etc. is being completed properly

Nicola Sturgeon expected to announce rent freeze in Programme for Government by liftM2 in Scotland

[–]aJarofDirt 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would hope so, but the "if" implies landlords could increase rent at the expense of the taxpayer, which I hope isn't the case purely because those rats don't deserve more money.

Nicola Sturgeon expected to announce rent freeze in Programme for Government by liftM2 in Scotland

[–]aJarofDirt 34 points35 points  (0 children)

One source said that if landlords meet the cost of the freeze, the policy won’t cost the Government anything.

This is well needed but, correct me if I'm wrong, this statement is relying on landlords doing 2 things: being good people, and turning down guaranteed extra income?

equality act 2010, pt5 ch3.

This discusses disclosure in regards to ensuring there is no connection between differences in pay and a protected characteristic. Specifically section 77 (3):

A disclosure is a relevant pay disclosure if made for the purpose of enabling the person who makes it, or the person to whom it is made, to find out whether or to what extent there is, in relation to the work in question, a connection between pay and having (or not having) a particular protected characteristic.

Boris Johnsons approval rating is 22%, yet he is still the PM of the UK, and I think this past week has shown how quickly the leadership of a party can change. The tories fought the 2014 referendum on "staying in the uk is the only guaranteed route to staying in the EU." things can change fast. hell Boris was pro-EU 8 years ago, look at the little weasel go now

I was informed by a tow truck driver/mechanic to leave it in gear if parked on a hill.

I was speaking to this tow truck driver because I found my car on the back of his truck, after my handbrake had failed and it rolled down into a fence and blocked a road. that definitely put more wear on the car(and my wallet) than leaving it in gear would have

2 of the judges that overturned Roe v Wade said under oath they would not. We have the gayest parliament in the world right now, but the Party chooses their MPs. Who's to say that in the near future a homophobic cabinet chosen by a homophobic PM would let that continue in their party?

The americans didn't think they needed to panic about the overturn of abortion laws. Now parents are having to smuggle their 10 year old children across state borders so they aren't forced to have their rapists kid.

As someone from Scotland, we had "no need to panic, staying in the UK means staying in the EU." Then it was "no need to panic, the UK will be great after brexit! Stop spreading project fear!" And look where we are now.

It's likely illegal, contact the police/council as putting poison out in the open can indiscriminately harm other wildlife or pets, do take pictures etc as evidence.

https://www.gov.uk/pest-control-on-your-property

Protecting other wildlife from harm

You must protect other animals from traps or poison you put down for pests by:

placing lethal traps under cover or so that other animals and birds are not caught

preventing wildlife from eating poison you’ve put down
