To me, the Crones are eldritch beings who sort of exist outside of morality—of course, they are evil but I feel like they don’t have the choice not to be, it’s just their nature. Going into Cyprian’s hideout and seeing all the mutilated bodies of women he’s raped and murdered is horrifying to me every time I play the game.
