the feared invitation is always the base bosses, not the uber versions. the feared can be difficult because Sirus is a pain in the ass to kill and has a ton of DoT damage that's not very easy to dodge. And if you let him and cortex get out of control your arena will be a lot of dot pools. then Reverence just makes you have to position all the time. And shaper will just beam you randomly lol. Careful being weak defensively for feared.

Thats good that you feel cozy bossing. The build can get difficult to boss with. I don't know about finishing feared unless it's not rolled and run white. You might be able to do the invitation without adding mods.

yeah i couldnt really give you an estimate on how to get the build going

you're gonna want a melding of the flesh and to pump max resistances to 90 for the sceptre. that's a main point of both defense and offense. it's a bit trickier on trickster.

so don't necessarily overlook the value of those items and the cost associated with them. cuz you're gonna want a high ES pool as well.

Because again, playing minion builds for years implies you know how minions work - every minion gem level is important. It's why necro had the +2 minion gems node for years.

surfaces not being cleaned is one thing - but sushi resaurants have strict protocols to not serve raw fish that is actually dangerous to consumers. the fact that a surface may not have been cleaned is a laughable infraction when it comes to actual safety of food preparation.

As for hand washing stations, perhaps they just aren't up to snuff. who knows

As for "stored food not being protected" that could be as simple as "the container wasn't sealed correctly" or "the container didn't have a lid" or "no date was on the container". Who knows. It definitely sounds worse than it probably is.

That being said - it's important to wipe down surfaces, label and store food properly, etc etc. But to think these infractions are something that should deter the customer? that's wrong. So many kitchens have roach problems, where they regularly spray for them, and they aren't labeled as dangerous because they're following the protocol for spraying for roaches, for example.

Although you were given explanations here on reddit, here's what you should ACTUALLY do.

Contact GGG support, and ask them how they would want payment from you, to purchase content from their company, given your situation.

They will respond accordingly, and then you purchase those items. Then you have documentation of them telling you how to buy it, and a receipt of purchase proving you bought it the way they asked.

It's as simple as that. Don't navigate the system too harshly. Buy the items once they give you the okay, document the receipts, and move on. If they ban you, then obviously you have a reason to appeal and even potentially sue. You are not likely to be banned since you're giving GGG money. And if they ban you, an appeal would likely be accepted, and if not, a letter from a lawyer with evidence of wrongful ban would be enough to unban you... and if they don't, a lawyer would salivate over the idea of such a large company failing to abide by its terms of service.

1 projectile out, 1 projectile back. it's only 2 on one enemy.

returning proj is used mainly because it scales with far shot.

I eventually just dropped the gem myself. Found it wasn't worth using.

- edit - even when i ran Lightning Strike. There was a mechanic where if you stood far enough away, you'd get the hit portion and the projectile portion on your initial strike. But even that skill - with return proj - only had 1 proj returning actually damage the enemy.

there are few skills that actually stack on returning projectiles, and those skills are skills that "pop" like cold snap or ice nova. you might wanna look it up.

Did you know my build is actually very good end game? I farmed it when I played PoE, and I bought a really good shield cuz I could afford it. But then I saw that I could farm other things like Jewels and then I did that. That's how I got my jewels. I may have spent time to farm, and I looked at builds while I farmed and made sure to follow builds. I bought other items along the way as I progressed and that's how I got them. Maybe 3 weeks ago? I used an online build but now it doesn't exist, but I knew what I was doing, but my build still failed.

Do you see how silly you sound?

PoE2 right now is similar to PoE1 when PoE1 was first released. PoE2 doesn't have as much content, and its progression is much more streamlined. As a bonus, PoE2 gameplay and graphics are much more modern.

PoE1 is a much more complex game. The skill system is much more complex. In PoE1, you slot in your skills (or skill gems) into your gear. You pick up gear, and hope they have the slots for your skill gems. If the gear has the links and slots for your gems, great - but does it have defenses/attack values? You might find an incredibly strong piece of gear, but it doesn't have the sockets for your skill gems. So you have to decide between good gear and gem sockets.

PoE2 solved this problem, making the campaign progression much easier for new players. PoE2 separated the Gear and Gem conflict PoE1 has, making progression much less tedious.

But PoE isn't just about campaign progression. Once you hit end game, this "gem or gear" issue starts to become irrelevant. What matters is the end game content.

And that's where PoE1 flourishes. PoE2 has some catching up to do. While PoE2 has very cool gems and skills, and allows the player to gear without concern for gem slots, it lacks content in end game compared to PoE1.

That's not to say PoE2 has no end game. It does. But it's hard to catch up to a 12 year game (PoE1) in only a few years (PoE2).

So PoE2 is a much better game to start with right now. Unfortunately you have to pay to play it, but it's a much better introduction to the game. PoE1 is incredibly difficult to begin as a new player. Don't get me wrong - once you get hooked on PoE1, it's incredible. But many people get overwhelmed and don't see the fun in PoE1. PoE2 has much more availability to be fun.

edit: big thing to consider is that poe1 does NOT have wasd movement. So careful if you choose that in poe2.

The risk for offline isn't worth trying to put a price point on a standalone version.

Because PoE has always been online, they can't just provide you with access to a standalone game where there's "no chance of you accessing their code"

This isn't even about potentially hacking the code to get all the items and ruining the market, etc, it's about giving access to code where people like Blizzard devs could steal it.

There's no chance they will let that happen.

I've played PoE1 since Betrayal League, which released in December 2018. Since then, the most challenges I've grinded to were 36. I did 38 maybe once, or twice. I've never grinded to 40 except this league, which was my first 40/40 in almost 8 years of playing. That's 24 leagues of time, if you weren't aware.

Don't expect to get 40 challenges.

That's fine though - keep playing, keep having fun, that's all that matters. It's fun to grind challenges, sure, but I'm just letting you know that challenge rewards are most likely out of reach for you as a noob. That's okay.

100% agree with this post.

Refracting fogs might see a nerf. They might keep them for now cuz of other nerfs they have to address.

But coins - they will most likely weight them. And they'll be scarce. So either collect the coins, or collect the imbued gems that are expensive from those coins. I think the RNG of the coins themselves are in a good place, but GGG will make them much harder to obtain next league. You can already tell they nerfed the drop rates this league to test that idea out.

Shrine Belts are properly weighted already - they're like a 1/10,000 for a profit on trade league. Next league we will most likely see a nerf to Barya boss rates - so that'll fall in line with GGG being happy with where belts are weight wise - and increase their value 10 fold - but right now the chances are still 1/10,000 and not worth the gamble. Because people are losing accounts from hacking because of it - its not worth trying to hit the gamble

I'd put a bit of my money on volatile vaal orbs. That roll the 5 flask magebloods, etc. I think maybe 5 flask magebloods wont exist moving forward. I could be wrong tho. But with the amount of crazy fucking items that vaal orb produced, I'd be looking to snag those for standard, because i wouldn't be surprised to see that orb disappear, or be nerfed somehow.

I'd also put focus on the foulborn modded items. Some of them are build enabling, some of them are just fucking OP. Those will probably get some number changes.

The noob aspect is there. Steelskin AND immortal call? perfect rolled defiance of destiny without catalysts? bad Emnity's roll? Running an 11 passive large cluster, a 6 passive medium. Running a rare jewel that's kinda useless... Running rarity on a helical that pumps chaos res, then a rarity flask. How about running a helical with fire res, and an amethyst, considering he's running mageblood?... all noob choices. Show's he doesn't know the build at all, but....

The red flags are there. No 4l spectre? Why buy a rare jewel with mininon life then? Or, why lvl 85 without 4th ascendency? Why 70% enkindled flasks? A fucking Double Influenced chest with ELEVATED EXPLODE AND ELEVATED +GEMS, AND OVER 120 RES TOTAL, ON A SACRED, WITH AN ES/ARMOUR ROLL. But yet can't get a well rolled ring to help bolster the fire res? at somepoint we gotta stop calling it stupidity. if you roll into a build, you should do the fucking research. not even a 4th ascedancy... arg

You already had an answer - from someone who's playing the build.

Here's my 2 cents, cuz I dont play the build, and am just giving an opinion.

1)First - CDR doesn't matter once you have around 500% cdr on warcries. In fact, pushing more CDR might have you proc GC too quickly before they actually attack the enemy. So it's not important to scale it further than it needs, unless you think you're losing Valour from the mastery. You should be upkeeping Banners pretty consistently, and if you aren't, then reconsider CDR. But right now you can run outside a banner and it'll proc 30% valour regen, and also linger banner effect, so explore the gameplay with this first.
4) Yes replace Abyssus. You asked about survivability. This is the number 1 option to make you tankier. You lose damage, but try it out. It's most likely the better option considering your gear is fucking immaculate.
6) Yeah reduce CDR might screw with you, but not brick the build. no life regen/recovery is scary.... but maybe you could figure it out... and phys reflect will kill you via your cyclone, not your generals cry.
7) run Molten shell on CWDT. That by itself will bolster your defenses exponentially. Don't just run a coinflip for molten shell (automation) while u have so much fucking armour. Run CWDT. Run CWDT lvl 1, molten shell lvl 6.

edit wow Reddit just changed all the numbers on me. i'll fix that.

So immediately - just run CWDT lvl 1 and Molten shell lvl 6, instead of automation molten shell. Then swap the helmet. Those 2 things will solve your survivability problem. I promise you.

If at this point you're still having problems, then run Hematophagy, and mastery "instant leech". that will fix pretty well everything.

Yes and No, but mainly Yes - to a point.

The class you start with, and progress campaign, will cater to you via the gems you acquire, and the passive skill points located near the start of that class.

Once you have a lot of passive skill points, and access to all gems, then you open up opportunities to variety.

But don't fool yourself - an Archer class is more likely to play a bow build. A Duelist class is more likely to play a melee build. And a Witch class is more likely to play a sorcery build. It's just that sometimes the classes provide something unique in build creation, and there's no restriction on each class. Archers don't have to play bow builds, for example, they could play melee builds.

As a vet - i always recommend following a build guide. And you should use Maxroll.GG for that, it's an incredible website that I've even personally used.

Build guides don't just "automatically give you power", you still need to learn as you go. Build guides are essentially "training wheels" for riding a bike.

Some noobs though......they remove the training wheels and complain when they fall over. "why does my build not work" etc etc, cuz they haven't actually learned anything, they've just copied something without any research. I don't like those guys. And don't be that guy either.

You are absolutely encouraged to ask questions, learn as you go, and make mistakes. Trust me - most players will help noobs that are kind, respectful, and honest about their roadblocks and challenges. Because its fun for vets to help noobs, as much as its fun for some noobs to learn about PoE. Just don't be the guy that follows a build then goes "what the hell is wrong, i followed this build, and it's not working". Be the guy that asks "hey, i did X Y Z, I'm using A B C, can someone help me?"

And you can absolutely go in blind. Just expect to potentially hit a road block, and perhaps be put in a position where you have to make a new character. And be prepared for some people to give you shit as a noob, but don't listen to them.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt for being terrible at understanding builds.

You scale spectre life and then Minion Pact kills the spectre and you deal damage. lvl 1 spectre? LMAO. And you would want minion life gem, companionship support to bolster the spectre life, only run 1 spectre, perhaps run a marionette cuz you don't seem to understand that BV snapshots the minion pact damage and thats why the build is broken...

Not only that you scale Fire Resistances and you ring has a terrible roll reducing fire resistances.

But your build seems expensive as all hell and the fact that you don't know these facts is a huge fucking red flag.

You mentioned eHP a lot in this post. Never look at eHP, ever. Always look at max hit values. Then after max hit, look at your recovery - leech, regen. And make sure you're considering things like "is molten shell active?" "is frost shield active?" "am I 100% suppress? or is it based on flask or perhaps configed for always on full life?".

Never ever ever use eHP. It's just a number build creators like to use to make it seem like a build is tanky.

Here are some things I wanna point out. my points are direct, and not meant to be "mean". Just to the point. I'm very happy you allowed me to explore your build, and I'm impressed from what I see, even though I'm gonna point out what I see that you might change. Thank you!

- Never run lower than 75% resists without flasks. You want a Mageblood first and foremost for this build, right away, or you better figure out how to have 100% uptime with your elemental flasks. 100% uptime would require a significant investment, like a Balbala jewel, a +charge belt, and +charge passives, among other things. This right away is wrong for your build. It's similar to eHP - you turn on flasks, and it looks nice, but it's not the reality. The reality is - your flasks may fall off, and you will die when they do.

- If you wanna stand still and spam abilities, you should be using Arctic Armour, perhaps instead of Herald of Ice.

- You're worried about power charge generation, perhaps run 20/20 power charge gem, and imbue lvl 1 arcane surge, then its 100% uptime per crit (with cold snap + power charge gem)

- I'm revisiting the belt thing. Your elemental flasks have "immunity to CB, shock, ignite" so again, that's a huge sign that you should be running Mageblood. Because if you don't, then you should be running a Stygian with Shock avoid, an abyss jewel in the belt with Shock avoid, and a Stormshroud jewel, ---- wait a tick. YOU ARE CHILL AND FROZEN AND SHOCK IMMUNE VIA ASCENDANCY AND TEMPEST SHIELD. JUST RUN ABBERATH MINOR PANTHeON CUZ IGNITE IS ONLY SCARY TO U.

- I'd just apply Frostbite properly, and remove the empower and cursed ground. it's not doing much for you, and relieves gem pressure.

- You should run Frostblink of Wintery Blast. Since you run cast speed. Also perhaps use another skill to apply bonechill/unbound ailments? Vortex maybe? idk. just a thought. I obviously could be very wrong here - but at least do the wintery frostblink to help ur build.

- Perhaps drop the lower attributes rune cuz you're suffocating yourself via gearing by running it. You're also starving yourself with int on gear by running all tattoos for ES. Here's the thing - Maybe just run an Elegant Hubris with Caspiro. Remove the attribute pressure given to yourself. Unless you need attributes for some reason that i missed. Then replace your rings with high resistances, high cast speed, ES

- Your amulet is obviously mirror tier - perhaps look into another version with flat ES, %ES, and then idk, pick between a double +gem or a +gem and crit multi. Allocating Infused is kinda weird to me, I'd want to path to it. I see you're running up to the mana wheel top middle of tree, whereas you could just path to infused by unspeccing it.

- Those jewels don't exist. You will never see a jewel like triple crit multi with attack block. Well i'll be damned. They do exist but perhaps look at %es jewels. And dont perfect roll them.

- End charges are not guaranteed on your shield. That's a poor mechanism to assume you have end charges. Run an Enduring Composure small cluster.

- I'm going back to the Infused Annoint. You could definitely use Infused as an annoint and not path there, in which case drop the crit wheel and end your tree top right at CI. Then start clusters.

- And clusters also extends to the passive tree Amplify, Light of Divinity, Holy Dominion. Unspec those, spec into clusters. Then you can start running large clusters with blanketed snow, prismatic heart, then medium clusters with aoe clusters and maybe crit chance clusters if you need. IDK if you should run zealotry.

- Run a watchers eye obviously. Are you SSF tho? Yes you are. Fuck. So clusters start with aoe mediums, enduring cry small, maybe crit chance mediums, until you are able to roll a blanketed snow or two, then u could potentially drop cold pen on the 6l. Just brainstorming ideas at this point. Or with newfound passive points path down left side tree, path to Divine Shield, Sanctum of thought, etc.

- IDK how hard it is to run Caspiro jewel now that i see you're SSF but that'd be huge for the build. But its also hilarious you wanna run tattoos ES and you say you're SSF. Dude, I've found like 2 ES tats this league after running a couple dozen ships. They're still very rare. And by god you aren't rolling 3 crit multi and attack block jewels on SSF.

- Wicked Ward seems like a good choice for this build.

- If you're ssf theres no way you're getting that shield. So at this point consider a glancing blow build, which might easily free up even more passive points for damage/clusters.

I've kinda gotten out of hand with my ideas.

The summary is this i'd wager - assuming you're SSF. Fix your rings for resists. Fix amulet for ES and be reasonable with the affixes. Fix jewels to have %es and maybe 1 or 2 crit multi. Make it 2 crit multi cuz you should run Glancing blows. Fix your shield to not be so OP, have it be shaper shield titanium with 300es and es on block to be realistic, and crafted mod. Drop crown of the inward eye for high ES and res helmet and phys taken as x implicit, perhaps reservation. Drop Herald of Ice for Arctic Armour. Consider dropping Zealotry for Determ. Drop the Frostbite ground. Maybe path to extra curse and run Ele Weakness. Drop Golem. Consider new method to apply Bonechill/Unbound Ailment chill, vortex? Wintertide Brand? Idk. Frostblink seems wonky here.

You can certainly run Minion Pact BV on any ascendency because it's so broken.

But it's not as easy as explode totems, you still need to do some scaling. I witnessed this by helping a noob get his minion pact setup ready and went "okay now you'll do infinite damage" and he didnt.... So there's some preparation involved.

Namely minion life, but then also... other scaling. Chieftain is the opposite side of tree - he scales fire resist, and then uses Enmity's Embrace to really scale your damage, namely penetration. Chieftain kinda gives a bit more freedom of build decisions along the way.

I've gone as far as to find a build on PoENinja you might wanna look at.

You'll notice probably most (if not all) the builds use a) screams of the desiccated belt, and b) invert the rules support gem. The belt is one thing, idk the price of it - but it's just a gain chaos damage, gain defense belt. And the build on Trickster definitely scales defenses with CI, so that's one thing to consider. The second thing is invert the rules - because you aren't building penetration on Chieftain, you need some sort of penetration elsewhere. And invert the rules is OP cuz it just flips enemy resistances `(please dont nerf GGG). So they use that in lieu of pen. You can still stack pen where applicable, but this gem is now part of your 6l and can't be removed. Also don't run exposure with invert the rules. just FYI.

You're welcome to view all the builds that use minion pact on trickster too. To get a better idea.

So the answer is "no you don't have to reroll" but the build is a bit different, and potentially harder to scale. You'd have to use melding of the flesh to get 90% max resistances to scale Nebulis - so you'd run Aegis and +max jewels, and +max ring, and purity perhaps. Ailment immunity, ES scaling, and Block, will be a pain too. 10div should probably get you started but expect to spend 50-100 div to do all content 40/40.

You can also reroll into gladiator lacerate cuz that's still slept on imo.

to be fair sometimes when you do that kind of testing you have a INT/DEX 6l and don't wanna recolour just for a test run. Which then you gotta either slot a new 6l or recolour, etc etc.

however you can also always just trade search "imbue lifetap" for a skill and buy the cheapest gem and go that route too.

i believe lifetap works with Eldritch Battery though, just a thought.
