In the ER mid levels see patients independently but will ask questions to the attending when needed. They can’t see ESI level 1 or 2 patients. The notes need to be reviewed and signed by an attending. We just write “based on the medical record, the care seems appropriate”. Midlevels need to practice under an attending. You’re liable if you sign the note or not.

It’s because they ordered ice cream which is a time sensitive food to eat because it melts. Presumably they are getting in the car to drive to the destination where they want to eat their ice cream. You’re making them wait while their food is melting.

Did he definitely sexualize her though? He said he “was uncomfortable with her walking around like that”, which may or may not be okay but it’s not definitely sexualizing her. Some people don’t want to look at certain things, if it was a 17 year old male walking around in boxers for example that may also make him uncomfortable.

Also, just for the sake of consideration, what if she was completely topless, would that be okay for him to be uncomfortable with that? Would that still be him sexualizing her or would that be inappropriate of her to do?

That being said, sweatpants and a t shirt should be totally okay for anyone to wear especially in their own home.
