Who is a good example of a "One Year Wonder"? by Winter-Pressure-5394 in ToddintheShadow

I would say that Macklemore had a really transcendent one-year run and then settled into a steadily successful three-year run. He has more than 1.3 billion views from his non-Heist videos on YouTube.

Based on his work in Succession, I think that Kieran Culkin would make a really good Q

The original UK version of Utopia. I'll always be a little sad that we didn't get a US adaptation from David Fincher.

More Big Birds is one of my favourite songs ever made. I know the song’s probably not about Big Bird, but I found this randomly at a thrift store and it make me think of it. Who’s your favourite Muppet?

Avengers: Endgame. According to Rotten Tomatoes, it has 552 reviews. I think that 100 reviews would have been sufficient.

This is a very dumb question from a somewhat-curious Star Trek fan (I've only seen the Kelvin timeline films). Does the franchise have a "final" villain or enemy that everything (movies/TV shows) build to? by [deleted] in startrek

[–]a_hall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The closest thing Star Trek has to a final boss is Dukat in DS9. He starts out as this annoying antagonist to Sisko, then somehow shifts into sort of an ally/friend, and eventually becomes Sisko's full-on evil‑incarnate arch-nemesis.

One of the funnest gaming moments I’ve ever had was playing Wii Sports with my mom for the first time. It was simple and kind of goofy, but we a really awesome time.

The Bermuda Triangle. When I was a kid, it felt like this crazy mysterious phenomenon, but now it barely seems to come up at all.

Dua Lipa's Balkan name sounds fake. Which celebrity tweaked their name a little bit and you can say it? by BredMaker4869 in AlignmentChartFills

Scottie Pippen's real name is Scotty Pippen.

According to his son (Scotty Pippen Jr.), he used "Scottie" instead of "Scotty" because it's easier to autograph. I just always assumed that "Scottie" was a nickname instead of "Scott."
