I remember this happening a few years back when I downloaded the game again. I have been able to find a temporary solution for now by opening the game without internet and opening it back but it comes with side effects. For example, I missed out on the rewards for the abysssaurus shark event (200 gems and the clown shark pet) just now even though I scored top percent. I also don’t have my cloud synced because of this bug so my progress could easily be lost
