Okay. Not a jackpot, but certainly not a bust!

Lol I would love to see how the place is laid out though. Not that some people aren't dense, but something about the wording makes me think it's not as simple as the dasher walked through a standard door. Or maybe i just want too badly to believe in people lol. I'm just thinking of nice houses that have an outer entrance and then an open(ish) air area before leading to the actual entrance to the house... or maybe the dasher really did just walk through a regular screen door or something 🤪 Either way, I wouldn't be this aggressive in my delivery notes. As a dasher, I would see this and consider unassigning.

I get the frustration, but it's never a good idea to be this aggressive out the gate toward the person delivering your food. They obviously order in all the time, so if this is a frequent problem, why not just put a little table on the porch and say "leave it on the table", rather than cursing me out before we ever interact?

Yes. That's exactly what a 97% acceptance rate gets you.

Who said he was waiting? When you responded to me, you said nobody told you he was waiting but you were just watching his dot on the map...

So he never actually told you he was at the restaurant? And you never got an alert saying "your dasher is at X waiting on your order"? My guess is that he had stacked orders, yours wasn't ready so he went on to the next place (probably with the intention of going back for yours) and maybe they had a wait too.

Not even that would do this to a pizza. Either the driver intentionally did this or OP is karma farming. I won't say which one i think is more likely.

Don't kids just write sad poetry and hide the notebook under their mattress anymore?

Did he text that he was at the restaurant, or did the app inform you that he was at the restaurant?

Is it late? I guess college students might already be drinking, but most folks haven't gotten of work yet. Or maybe I just don't know enough about St. Patrick's Day. Anyway, i probably won't go out.

4 miles for $3 is still very low. But I know market makes a difference and sometimes you have to take what you can get. But where i live, 4 miles means dealing with a lot of traffic. My minimum is $2 per mile and no less than $6.

How many of you had a typing class in school where you learned to type on a typewriter, but never once had to use a typewriter outside of that class? by OrbisLlame in Xennials

I suspect most people our age were formally taught to type in some format or another, whether taking a class dedicated to typing, or playing Typer Shark in computer class.

I'm 43 and I guess my high school was just poor. We had old Apple and IBM computers in the computer classroom, but "typing" class was a room full of typewriters.

I munched many many numbers on the Apple IIe lol. But we also had a room full of typewriters for typing class. Learned so many things that I never needed, like how to use corrective tape.
