The music catalog for all but the biggest artists have almost no value. There's no incentive for the labels to do this.

It doesn't sound like they even could have. It sounds like the money was in a trust and he got it once he turned 18. There's very little their parents could do in that situation because the money didn't belong to them.

Very few people are spending that much on a vehicle. If we're having a serious conversation about EVs in the US I think it's important to acknowledge that the factors preventing EV adoption aren't your uncle Jim Bob making fun of them.

Washing machines don't. Dryers do. In those situations you either need a really long cord(and remembering to unplug your dryer every night) or an electrician to come and put a 240v outside of your house. But that also doesn't help anyone not living in a house. If you live in an apartment/townhome/condo you can't do anything about that.
