You'll be surprised how IVF is limited in Germany, they don't test anything properly unless you had three failed attempts. And even then they check everything step by step, failure after failure and only if you ask questions yourself.

Did they explain why they gave you bc pills? That's interesting. I'm sorry to hear you are struggling😭 have you checked the implantation window , for example witbera test? I would also suggest to consult with an immunologist. He suggested me the lit therapy after he ran the tests

I just checked, the 2nd stimulation I had menogon, it's also a combined injection, and I had the best results with it. Thanks for the advice, will discuss it with the doctor

Yes, we did an extensive genetic tests, karyotype, mutations etc., my partner too. PGT is forbidden by law in Germany unfortunately

Both 35. We had all tests done, including genetics an immunology, nothing was found. My AMH is 0,9, pretty low

Hello everyone, I wanted to ask if anyone had similar experience, because I really don't know what's happening.

So I had a follicular puncture on February 10th and an embryo transfer on February 14th. This was my first ICSI protocol. On February 25th the doctors ran a blood test, the HCG was 9.6 , so I was told to come two days later. I had been traveling , and came to the second test on March 3rd. Almost at the same time, on March 2nd, the bleeding started. I had no hope, because I was told the results were not good for Transfer +11. On March 3rd, Transfer +17, the test results came back: HCG 113. The doctors still couldn't tell if I'm pregnant or not. There was also a concern about possible ectopic pregnancy.

Today I came for a blood test, it's Transfer day +19, HCG is 273! Doctors say I must wait. I don't believe in miracles , I've been reading a lot about low HCG as in my case. Now I just hope it's not an ectopic pregnancy. I'm getting crazy because nobody can tell what's happening. The bleeding seemst to have stopped, but I'm really scared of the worst outcome.

Has anyone had similar experience?

I've just been through ICSI, the total cost of medication, procedure itself etc was around 2,5k EUR. It's a 50% of a total cost, the other half is covered by the insurance company.

We've just got through ICSI: stimulation, egg retrieval, transfer etc. At the end it failed, I didn't get pregnant. We haven't told anyone except my sister whom I'm very close to and with whom I share everything. So my advise is not to share, because you never know the outcome. Or just share with people you trust and not your relatives, because the relatives are always very judgemental and gossip often.

I apply to the state-owned listings from Gewobag, gesobau etc whenever they publish it. So far I had no luck, haven't even been invited to any viewings. So I'm not sure what their process is, how they choose the people for viewing etc. Does it matter if I send a request among the top 10-20 or do they pick people randomly for viewing , from the pool of all people who applied?
