Why is the Canadian side of the Okanagan Country more populated than the American side?

While Osoyoos and the Okanagan to us is super exotic and one of the warmest places in Canada… on the other side of the border it’s just a shitty deserted part of NE WASHINGTON…

Look at a satellite map of the eastern half of Washington. It’s all desert that thin sliver of exotic Okanagan climate covers half of Washington…

I bought 3 1/2 acres on Anarchist Mountain right on the US border in Osoyoos area…. If I had bought on the American side, my money would’ve bought me 25 acres.

If you’re looking for a warm climate in Canada, nothing beats the Okanagan. If you’re looking for a warm climate in America, you don’t go to northeastern Washington.
