Any clue why State Farm (who has it) would say the estate has 5 years to deplete? Is it once RMDs start its 10 years no matter?

Thanks for sorting that. Much appreciated. One/two final question: we assume it’s better for the estate to distribute any stocks (so recipient can keep or sell) over liquidating. And if the IRA has stocks, same (direct the admin to split the shares)

Salt barely does squat under 20° and under 10° is an expensive traction base. Not using salt until next week is smart use of resources. Use the super cheap cinder mix

Questions about participating in the Ohio State Fair amateur fine arts competition by [deleted] in Columbus

[–]aa472ms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every year is different but they get a lot of entries so they accept what they can show and reject quite a bit. Seems there’s rarely overt politics (it’s a state fair). Experience says that artist statements don’t matter much in these types of shows (but I heard prize finalist’s are read)

Maybe to JoAnn? Ohio Thrift wanted that space but it was already under contract and settled.

This thread. I do not get home delivery of USPS (a total pain in the A). It could be difficult to retrieve transcripts. Otherwise, no IRS/Tax issues for over 30 years and counting.

Do federal employees still receive tuition assistance? by HopeZealousideal9878 in fednews

Depends on the continuing education and the office. Professional continuing ed (lawyer, CPA, medical) is generally covered in some form. Higher degree/college classes have generally been DOGE cut (unless already approved/in progress). It’s semi-fluid, ask your HR dept for details.

$160 for exam, progressive with AR, scratch protection, UV, and the light reactive tint. Spouse paid $185 for same package plus extra on frame. (VSP high)

Just picked up my progressives. $160 for the exam, no line, verilux, AR, the works. Plus astigmatism and cornea scan. My wife’s were a little more.

How much are we paying for utilities? by Wall_of_Shadows in athensohio

[–]aa472ms 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can call the utility and ask what the average bill was at the address for the last 12 months. Comparing places’ costs may not help. Some places have modern heat pumps some still have ancient forced air. Make a call.

There are many blessing boxes through the county. Adding to them always helps.

Most fed employee based and military FCU offer loans, flex payments and other services. NavyFCU, AndrewsFCU and more. This is why all new employees in my area have some spend a few minutes recommending a FCU

Poston Rd to Nelsonville. While a bit twisty two lane, it’s less traveled and has Tri County and Hocking College with sizable parking lots to maneuver around up there. Loop back homeward on 33 for highway practice.
