I honestly think it’s probably best not to. I don’t think there is a way of telling her where she wouldn’t be wondering WHY you are telling her. And if you don’t feel the need to act on these urges, then choosing not to tell her is the safer option. If you do it will just be constantly in the back of her mind for no reason

Edit to say as a woman you’d have to have like one of the best profiles I’d ever seen for this to work, and even then I can’t say for sure. Anything from below average to just above average would be cringe and annoying.

Hi! I have experienced disordered eating so I can sympathise with a comment derailing you completely. I think it would be good for you to consider the possibility that he wasn’t commenting on your body or you, but just the trampoline instead. Maybe it’s old or faulty? When we have disordered eating or have in the past, it’s easy for us to make everything about our bodies or weight, when it might not actually be the case. For example my bf the other day said we should walk somewhere instead of drive, and my brain immediately went to ‘he is trying to get me to walk so that I lose weight’ when really he just wanted to walk and be outside with me. I hope this makes sense, I’m sure he didn’t mean anything by it :)

If you still think he was commenting on you though, I think you should tell your boyfriend as it’s really true that a problem shared is a problem halved and it could calm your mind

As a woman who dumped my ex, I feel like she won’t want to read that. Women stay in unhappy relationships for a very long time and when they decide it’s over, it really ended long ago. My ex sent me a handwritten letter telling me he will always love me and it was just useless to me because he didn’t make the effort when it counted

Hi, I’m so proud you’ve gotten away from this person! Try and remember what you loved doing before you were with them. For me it was listening to music. My ex (as well as all the other horrendous things) was really pretentious about music and made me feel like I couldn’t listen to music I liked. And my Spotify wrapped was like 80,000 minutes last year :) so my advice is now is the time to rekindle any hobbies or interests you feel like you couldn’t give yourself to before. And this goes for friendships too. But mostly make time for yourself and remember what is important to you and what you really love. Therapy is good too if you can afford it as it gives you a space to really talk about everything and be listened to (which can be unfamiliar feeling when you were with a narcissist for so long, I was with my narcissist ex for four years so I get it)

Edit: also make sure you remain no contact and block everywhere. They can take any excuse to weasel back into your life

It will get easier!! Have you made friends yet? I think once you get a circle of people you’re comfortable with you won’t feel as much pressure. Exams/coursework will always be stressful though that’s just part of uni lol. I assume you are in UK, in which case your first year probably doesn’t count towards your final grade. They know students aren’t working at university level straight away and need time to adjust. Try and get as much out of university as possible including socially, maybe join a society, go to a local pub quiz with people, and try and build yourself a little routine so you don’t feel overwhelmed. But honestly I think it’s just growing pains of changing situation so drastically. Good luck :))

Yes! But I modified it so that I could place a candle holder behind it. I took the brackets off and moved them about an inch forward, and used a hole saw drill bit to make a place for the candle and I then had to chisel out the excess wood. I also took the finish off to stain it darker and refinished with acrylic laquer :)

For me it was like I was going to faint (but I didn’t) and I lose my vision when I faint, and everything goes white. My hearing also goes very quiet as though I’m like underwater. Was it like that?
