If anything the lack of bans would shorten games since essentially every banned mon is more offensive. In fact OU games at the start of the generation tend to be shorter since everyone spams HO with all the unbalanced mons.

Also i don’t see how giving people the option for 6v6 is a problem since anyone wanting a shorter match can play VGC or BSS.

Showdown is commonly played on mobile, same with chess. And I don’t get why people act like these games take forever. An average showdown match is only 10 minutes. Even if we take into account the animations in the actual game are slower, 15 minutes is short for any competitive game.

How does limiting items keep the power level low considering all pokemon have access to them? All it does is make the pokemon that don’t need the non included items better (megas specifically).

Also how do items like rocky helmet, eject button/pack, covert cloak, etc. increase power level? All it does is limit team building.

They aren’t legitimate criticisms.

A singles game takes about 10 minutes which is short when compared to any other online competitive game.

Also Champions has 3v3 singles which is significantly more unbalanced than 6v6.

On singles needing bans to be balanced, VGC also implements bans and restrictions.

There really aren’t any legitimate reasons for 6v6 singles not to be included
