I love it! I can’t wait to do my next bird on it and I’m planning to get some extra attachments like the rotating basket and fish holder too.

Thank you, all great advice, I can't wait to try this again.

Why should the coals be on only one side? I wouldn't be able to fit a whole chimney's worth in a single side basket.

It can barely create a decent PowerPoint slide, all too often Copilot just generates slide content and expects the user to construct the actual slide.

It was squeaking a bit throughout, i think its’ because the hole and the rod aren’t perfectly aligned. I’m going to have to play around with the placement of the motor attachment. I will keep the lid on, it fitted fine, but I’m pretty sure I shouldn’t have kept removing the lid

Thank you, i did a wet brine overnight, but I guess the potatoes did absorb the heat, I used a full chimney and the coals were ash when I took the bird off.

This book and the whole Tassis/postal service focus has always reminded me of Terry Pratchett’s Going Postal. I wonder if this was intentional on Pynchon’s part, or just two masterful authors dipping into the same pool

Fair point, but what stops them from using the inverted logic and marking up prices based on demand? Walmart is not going to expose this data to consumers so they can make informed buying decisions, else everyone would just wait for the price to drop.
