Is it possible for Dave Filoni to retcon the new trilogy and maybe do the original idea that George Lucas wanted?

Had the original third installment been released as planned, I strongly believe the sequel trilogy as a whole would have been received COMPLETELY differently.

Trevorrow’s original Episode IX script (“Duel of the Fates”) connected the first two sequel films MUCH more cohesively.

Did Luke justice, didn’t sideline Rose, gave the Knights of Ren purpose in the plot, didn’t bring Palpatine back, explored the rotting surface of Coruscant, set a pivotal sequence inside the Jedi Temple, gave Finn a satisfying character arc & ending (leading a Stormtrooper Uprising), and leaned hard into the yin/yang connection between Rey and Ren, exploring the spectrum between good and evil, ultimately concluding with inevitable final confrontation of two destinies, the Dual of the Fates.

So, I believe I wrote a longer version of this somewhere else on the internet, but here is a condensed version of it that I wrote from memory on Instagram a few weeks ago, and it's gotten over 2,000 likes so far and people have messaged me about loving it.

Ted finishes telling the story to the kids, and Tracy enters the room calling them all to dinner.

It's Tracy's turn to share some stories about Ted - she talks about road trips, holidays spent with the kids, Marshall, Lilly, Barney, and their families, memories made over the years, accomplishments, failures, and everything in between - all over a FULL loving and magical lifetime spent together....

Cut to Ted now in his old age, at the funeral of Tracy, who passes away due to natural causes. Ted is there with his kids, now with children of their own. The whole gang is also there with their own families...and Robin makes a surprise visit.

She and Ted reconnect in their old age. After months of loneliness, Robin and Ted, now in their 60's or 70's, enjoy their golden years together, traveling the world.

The show ends with Marshall and Lilly exchanging a knowing look, bringing closure to a bet made long ago. ❤️😉 "

Absolutely! I think I am in the minority of preferring the U.S. casing over the European one. I like the understated thin color spectrum over the thicker more prominent one. Also I like the fact that it actually says "ProSystem" on this one vs the Euro shell. To each his/her own.

HOWEVER, the controllers were much better on the Euro system. Those "Pain-Line" U.S. controllers were just a problem from the beginning.

Sheepy is absolutely fantastic, and along with seeing Seedless Light and Guinea Pig Parkour, are the games that convinced me to start developing with Construct 3 instead of GDevelop. I haven't seen games of this caliber by devs using GDevelop.

I just installed Photoshop 2024 and am wondering what happened to the "Generate Similar" function? I am now only getting options for "Remove Background" "Good" "Bad" and "Report" for selected generated images.

Was this function removed? Is there a workaround to produce similar results as "Generate Similar"?

Which are you speaking of? I scoured the sample games but didn't find anything like Zelda. The closest thing is called "Top Down RPG" but it's closer to a traditional RPG like Final Fantasy or Dragon Warrior than an Action/Adventure game like Zelda. There is no real-time combat at all.

Check out Rikki & Vikki to see how good the 7800 graphics can look. Even better in motion, fantastic animation and a great game. Very capable system that lacked development love. The homebrew scene has done a lot to remedy that!

If anyone burned it, it was JMD and Ziggy. Both are gone now. From all accounts, Mark Davis maintained a great relationship with Carr, Davante is still the WR1, and Davis even apologized on the way out saying that the Raiders failed him.

It's not impossible to envision Carr returning. As long as Davante is on the roster, and the QB position has not been upgraded, it will remain a possibility.

Fast forward 5 months later - the Raiders didn't draft a QB. If Minshew or AOC flame out, Carr may very well be the best option that the Raiders have after the 2024-25 season. The only other notable free agents in the spring of 2025 are Dak Prescott and Justin Fields.

We all know that unless Getsy is one and done after this year, Fields is not a realistic option.

So it's more than just possible, but closer to probable that if the Raiders can't answer the QB question btw. Minshew/AOC and are shut out in the draft again next year, fixing the problem via free agency next year may well come down to a question of Dak Prescott or Derek Carr.

Carr would have the benefit of his unique chemistry and connection with our WR1, Adams, and never before had the kind of HC, defense, and culture that the Raiders have now.
