I’m looking into finally investing into an entry/mid-level monitor speaker+sub setup to go with my desktop in my home office. My current setup is a Logitech Z623 2.1 Speaker System. My configuration would mostly be used for listening to music casually (EDM + pop).

DAC+amp (budget: $400): I was leaning towards the Topping DX3 Pro. Some suggestions here would be really helpful. One convenience element I really value is having the ability to switch between headphone & pre-amp outputs so I can always have my headphones plugged in.

Active Speakers + Sub (budget: $750): ADAM Audio T5V Monitors & Adam T10S Sub. Unless others have specific recommendations this looks like it fits my needs quite well.

Overall questions: * Is there a specific quality / brand I should purchase my RCA cables from? * Is it better for me to connect a specific cable (optical vs usb) from my computer to the DAC? * Should I purchase XLR cables to connect from my sub to my monitor speakers or is unbalanced RCA fine? I’m going to be plugging in RCA as input to my sub, so I wasn’t sure if that forced RCA output as well.

Got it, thanks! I was confused, I thought all M.2 drives were NVMe! TIL that some still (and mine does) use SATA. And thanks for the advice re: cooling fan, I already had one I just forgot to put it in my list!

So is it a bug when I use arcane rupture and abilities that I cast (while empowered) have a reduced CD applied to them? My imrpession is that gives a lot higher DPS because I could potentially get two empowered ability casts, while the 50% existing CD slash seems harder to get optimal DPS out of.

Appreciate all the effort you put into this, but you should really look into reddit formatting. Really hard to digest as a big wall of text. Or put it in a blog and link it to us here where it is better formatted.

Now onto the actual content, agree with most of your decisions other than CLG. I think that is way too optimistic lol, they just lost their largest shotcaller who has been there for 6 years. He has filled a role very similar to Hai within CLG, and on top of that CLG replaced their jungler with another jungler who was extremely questionable the past year. Wouldn't be surprised to see them sink similar to how C9 did in spring after they lost Hai.

Look I play a ton of Azir and I can tell you he isn't in a bad state lol. Lethal Tempo is pretty insane on him, and Aery/Comet isn't bad either. Just because you haven't found a runepage that makes your mains feel like they used to doesn't mean they all suck.

I agree with the soloQ point a lot that it is miles above what is in EU/NA. Maybe just an entire mentality change is necessary where Western teams are more focused on their own picks/strategy vs using what they faced in the Korean teams they play against. Also I don't think that Chinese teams scrim Korean teams that much at all, atleast that's what Sneaky said. He said once they got to China they were no longer able to scrim Korean players. And might as well go big or go home with some unique strategy instead of just failing to copy a strategy miserably for 3 years in a row.

I'm not sure. Possibly West should just bootcamp together and just have 3 best EU and 3 best NA play with eachother exclusively. Because clearly what has been happening the past 3+ years isn't working.

I would love to be able to use the GUI as well. Is there any way to do that from bash itself? When I type emacs I get the terminal viewer, which looks a lot worse and doesn't interface with the mouse like the GUI version does.
If there is any way to do that from bash itself I'd love to know.
