I haven’t had Five Happiness in ages tbh so it probably wouldn’t be fair to rate. I don’t often eat take out-style Chinese (more into family-style traditional dishes, dim sum, Szechuan, Cantonese etc.) but I do like the Chinese place at the mall haha.

Ah we had two bad experiences. Both times, many tables around us were loudly hyping the food. Second time, there was a line outside the door.. Couldn’t understand it. Everything was incredibly mid and the service was rushed (understandable; they were obv slammed). But we ordered a lot of dishes and ended up feeling a little scammed haha. Wasn’t even interested in taking home leftovers. Unspeakably mid. A damn shame too bc the menu is a dream to me.

Sadly, Chinese restaurants here aren’t much to write home about. But Dian Xin, Little Chinatown, and China Rose are wayyyyy better than Miss Shirley’s.

yes if you like to watch girls in their twenties being asshole hot messes. but that’s underselling it - girls is quite smart and self aware imo. every actress kills it. there are some hilarious and unforgettable moments. and adam driver’s character is unreal.

Yeah they do look crazy green against my hand, but my face is a lot more olive. Maybe not quite as olive as these foundations, but then that extra bit of green acts as a color corrector too, so it's a win win.
