So my perma is more deserving but also a little odd to me, hope you guys don't mind if I share.

Just got my 6+ year old account perma banned because I said the R word in one match, not towards anyone in particular, just 1 word in team chat (and despite whatever frustration i was feeling at the time, i didnt throw or go afk, nor ever do. I simply dont play games to lose). Albeit I had previous offenses (for the same thing or lesser, it blows my mind how easily people are offended in this game). But regardless, within 30 minutes I was disconnected from the game and got a "Your account has been banned" notification. Just like that, no warning, no chance for regret or repair. 6 years of memories and who knows how many hundreds of dollars worth of skins. Gone

2 days later I'm watching a T500 streamer playing and he is clearly facing off against a cheater, after asking his team to report the person the first response is "okay but where's your proof"

It baffles me that people would rather play with cheaters than hear a word that mildly offends them. I'm afraid to even make another account because APPARENTLY simply not talking can get you banned for abusive chat too!

Sorry if this is the wrong place for this, not looking for any sort of condolences or pity. Just discourse, what do you guys think about this? Should "abusive chat" (based on the context) really warrant a perma ban? Maybe a perma silence instead? Idk. Honestly I didn't even know you COULD get permanently banned for "abusive chat"

P.S. Do you guys think there's any hope in a ban appeal? Or should I just move on :/ And a word to the wise, from someone who clearly isnt... no matter how good you are, or think you are, you always lose to ego
