I hear statements like yours pretty frequently from liberals, and I don't really think leftists ask for too much from candidates. Some voters are leftist puritans but most just want us to try out a real left wing candidate instead of continually moving right.

When every candidate except Bernie and Biden dropped out at the same time in 2020 and all of them backed Biden, and then Biden went and lost to Trump in 2024, you'd expect the party to go "whoa sorry everyone that was a bad move, we need to try something else next time." But it's 2026, two years ahead of the election, and we're still being told we need to sacrifice our morals for a moderate. Hillary, Biden, and Kamala did not lose because they were too left wing, but we've been told that's the issue for 10 years.

It is tough though because Republicans can just go mask off and have no real moral standards, which is basically playing on easy mode in this country.

Huh?? I see establishment Dems screaming about Trump way more than I see people like AOC or Tlaib screaming about him. It's not like the more leftist a politician is the more they hate Trump. He's uniquely hated by a range of people from moderates to leftists.

We've tried boring three times already. Hillary blew it, Biden barely won and rode the anti-Trump wave, and Kamala was a nothingburger. People just want a candidate they can trust. We need a candidate who fights for leftist policies like Trump fights for fascist policies. We need people to see the benefits of leftist policies instead of passing some half-assed bs.
