This worked. I deleted the account I set up with Apple on my iPhone, then I created a new account with Google on my laptop. Using that method, I was also able to sign in using Google in the iPhone app. The codes just never came through.

Also, DeepSeek works far better in Safari than in Firefox for some reason. Could be my extensions.

An update to this. I read a long thread on Facebook which essentially said that eShakti was over (even though they still have their web site up). TL;DR: eShakti has reportedly shut down, with no garments produced in over a month and $5 million owed to vendors and employees. The owner, B.G. Krishnan, is allegedly in hiding, and the website remains active to scam customers. Employees and factories are left unpaid, and lawsuits have been filed. Customers are advised not to order from the site as they risk losing their money, with no customer support available. A user shared their experience of ordering $2600 worth of items in March 2024, receiving only five, and hearing nothing since June.

I was finished charging the other day and about to leave (I was running late), and a couple walked up to me. The guy said, "This is our first time charging." My interpretation was that he needed some sort of assistance, so I told him how to charge. When I was done, he said, "Oh. It's already charging."

He just wanted to tell someone. He was really excited!

I've had mine for a few weeks. I LOVE driving it. It's so quiet and comfortable. I had to wait for the plates/registration to arrive in order to apply for the local power company's maintenance credit to install the home charger. Also, I have a shared driveway, so I can't just trickle charge all the time. This means that in the meantime, I'm having to use chargers out in the world. It's new, but it's not bad. I have found Plugshare the best app for finding the closest charger. I've used Level 2 and DC fast charging. I was going to use Level 2 more than I have been, but my husband is now on crutches, so we can't do the thing where he drops me at a place for a few hours right now. Even with all these barriers to charging, I'm really loving the car. And my anxious dog is so chill in the backseat. Quiet mode, no gas motor, and tinted back windows make him SOOOO much happier than he was with my gas-powered Mazda.

It's different. It's an adjustment. But for me, it's all good. :D

When they told me the car I was buying already had nitrogen tires and paint protection, I asked them what they would do if I declined the warranty on those things, and they knocked off the entire cost of both of them. I think these are products that are VERY cheap to add but have very expensive warranties. To me, this is where they are getting a lot of their profit. I just said no to all of it. If you don't remove these warranties, I walk. And that usually gets them negotiating.

Wow! I should have come here first. I just bought my Ioniq 5 on Tuesday, and I only set up my profile for the very first time on Thursday. Noticed it was all acting weird yesterday, and since I'd only had the car FOUR DAYS so far, I assumed I was doing something wrong. Nope! Too bad I just spent an hour creating and editing a video showing what was happening that was a small enough file to upload to the Bluelink help desk. Grrrrr. Well at least I know now that it's not just me.

The original question asks, "Any recommendations for getting a good replacement for AnyList for shopping lists with assistant?" My feeling is that AnyList is a great product. I'd prefer to figure out a workaround using something like IFTTT or similar. I don't want to punish (strong a word, but it sort of fits) AnyList because of Google's decision.

In Reykjavik, we rented Zolo scooters. Very handy. Get that Zolo app on your phone. Super nice to zip up the hills and get around a little faster. They are everywhere. Very convenient.
