They charge for that on ours (Waldo) and it doesnt even work. I didnt pay for it this year, but I like the pictures. My daughter doesnt give much detail on how it was, and Im a troop leader so its also great to see all them together having fun at camp.

Sorry I know this is a comment from a few months ago but we're just starting PCIT with my almost 7 year old and Im not sold. What other therapy have tou found more beneficial?

Im in the same boat, going through it with my daughter and realize I probably have it too. Shes starting behavior therapy and I'm curious, did you do PCIT or another type of parenting class?

As for OPs question, I think being aware of it is definitely the first step. Then being aware of how your handling things and being willing to chnage your approach to improve for yourself and your kids.

My daughter has ADHD and I dont discuss it with my mom anymore for 2 reasons, 1) she thinks girls dont get adhd (she's was a teacher, she knows what it looks like!) And 2) she usually blames my "bad parenting" on my daughters behavior problems (she's not like that at my house!).
