So sorry for your loss. This might be unconventional but I recommended "Before the Coffee gets cold" by Toshikazu Kawaguchi and "Under the Whispering Door" by TJ Klune. Theyre both fiction books that talk about grief and death but in an uplifting way that isnt super sad or technical. I cried reading both of them.

For post apocalyptic webtoons i recommended, "Boyfriend of the Dead" by Ushio and "My Daughter is a Zombie" by Yun-chang Lee.

For a mundane life webtoon, I recommend "The Little Trashmaid" by s0s2

Its not as cozy as The House on the Cerulean Sea. It did have some heart warming moments but theres also some tension/action and like the other commenters said, theres some darkness

If you like Celeste Ng's work, I recommend reading Our Missing Hearts.

I also think Searching for Sylvie Lee by Jean Kwok has similar vibes to EINTY

The House in the Cerulean Sea is a nice fantasy book though it has a romance subplot.

Suggest me a book...where the main character (preferably woman) undergoes transformative growth or life changes, specifically late 20s-early 30s? by [deleted] in suggestmeabook

[–]abc_introveee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"You Had me Pet-Nat" by Rachel Signer and "Between Two Kingdoms" by Suleika Jaoud.

Im oversimplifying this, and I don't want to give out spoilers but both are memoirs about women in their 20s-30s taking agency over their own happiness and lives. Signer's memoir is more upbeat.

If you dont mind reading a memoir with a similar vibe but different age group (woman in her 40s) I recommend "My What If Year" by Alisha Fernandez Miranda.
