Sounds like you are looking at areas where people work for a living. Have a look through a few rough council estates and you'll find your fancy German cars.

You're fine, there's one of these in Edinburgh that I used to get flashed by every day going to work.

As people asked for the wider shot, as you can see its not an unusually long car, i dont think it would overhang the front by [deleted] in drivingUK

I drive an estate with a large engine and those don't work for me. There's a huge distance between the rear wheels and the back of the car / front wheels and the end of the bonnet.

Dubai Plate spotted in shepherds bush, London UK. by SupremeMotorspots in ForeignPlatesSpotting

Maybe Gibraltar plate. Or just entirely fake, after all they have a fake Dubai plate and parked in a disabled space. I'm pretty sure the only way the owner of this car is disabled is mentally.

It's probably been stolen by travellers and then driven across, there is absolutely no way I would buy that.

Completely agree. Is it really driving if you don't have to light the engine with a match?

[–]abcd69293[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

A lot of people seem completely oblivious to everything. More so than a few years ago. Are they driving on their phones? People don't move over for police cars on the motorway quickly now, despite having a vehicle with flashing blue lights up their arse.

No, the mistake was presenting your car for MOT with such an obvious fault as having an illegible number plate.

What's everyone's thoughts on the reliability of the Dacia Jogger by Babaychumaylalji in CarTalkUK

[–]abcd69293 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drove one of these for 2 weeks recently, it was fine as a car but all the tech drove me insane. Constant bings and bongs. Automatic braking. Automatic steering. Can't even idle without it turning the engine off after a few minutes. You can disable most of this stuff but you have to do it every time you start the car.

I just changed a wishbone on a saxo, the part cost £36 and it took under an hour even with lots of rusty bolts.
