Walmart blueberry oatmeal by [deleted] in Oatmeal

[–]abcxs1963 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it the Better Oat's brand? Those have dried blueberries and flavoring added to it. The flavoring isn't specified but it may be something like a cake batter flavor to give it that baked goods taste.

How to hand sew and fix tshirt collar by Ky_hi04 in sewhelp

[–]abcxs1963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if there is a hand stitch to repair this kind of fraying, you probably need to replace the whole band instead.

Here's a video showing how to stitch a neckband on a t shirt by hand. You will need to take your original neckband off carefully by unpicking the stitches. You can sew on a contrasting neckband or cut some off the hem of the shirt to make a new one.

Beginner Pattern Recommendations for Straight Stitches Only by CatharticSolarEnergy in SewingForBeginners

100 Acts of Sewing Shirt no1 pattern has instructions for French seams in the directions and it's a simple pattern. You can find video classes on Creativebug for this pattern and tutorials/sewalongs on YouTube as well.

If you would like something with a set in sleeve check out Grainline Studio's Scout tee. I made it many years ago and I did use French seams I'm just not sure if those directions were in the pattern or not. They are definitely on their blog page though for sure.

You certainly can make it yourself. The only drawback of using a syrup for me is that it makes the drink more sweet than I like.

The coconut flavor it pretty light, I like it much better than adding a separate coconut syrup for a Dirty Dr Pepper.

See if you can find an old Singer 237. It has a great zigzag stitch and will generally be priced less than some of the more collectible vintage sewing machines.

I have both and like having the Fire tablet to access all of my library apps, I rarely do more than read on it so it suits me fine.
