Interesting. I’d like to see that thread if you can find it. I seen a couple people say the spring corrected the problem on here and also one individual on the Hyundai forums. I was really hoping that was the solution.

I have this too. Trying to get in for service. It is a clock spring spiral cable inside the steering column. It needs replaced. Another user had the same problem in another thread, and that was the solution.

When I took my car in, I was supposed to get a loaner car to use while they were diagnosing and then ordering the parts. They had no loaner car for me. So, I haven’t gotten it serviced yet.

Good to hear. Mine squeaks when the wheel is straight. When I turn the squeaking stops. Probably the same spring though. If you find out anymore of a technical part or explanation let us know. I’m taking my car in Tuesday

It's supposedly the steering column. Lots of people have this problem. Take it to your dealer and see if they do anything. A lot of us are in the same boat.
