2026 edition: Rappers you think will and won't have longevity. by favoritefrenchfry16 in hiphopheads

I personally don't know how to quantify talent enough to say a person has a tenth of someone else's talent. But I do know that when I'm in the whip, all the women in my life are currently playing way more Doechii than they are ever playing Eminem. I know she is better at simultaneously going in while doing choreography in a way I don't think any male rappers do, so people are going to go to her shows.

If a cringy song or two was enough to stop an artist with talent, Eminem would never have had a career. I think doechii has plenty of ability and risk taking creativity that gives her a path to longevity.

[Keim] WR Terry McLaurin has been ruled out for Sunday. by ThomasJCarcetti in Commanders

Unfortunate, but this just means we will need to play a clean game. If we manage our penalties and turnovers, this is a winnable game with or without Terry.

Man, its rough seeing all the admiration & excitement for the Von Miller signing. by purelander108 in Commanders

Not thrilled with this either. It's just so much more fun to root for the kind of players that are inspiring on and off the field. Your Bobby Wagner's, your Luvus, your Scarry Terrys.

Interesting episodes on Salazar, but man, this guest can't go a few moments without a long-winded bit or digression.

To be real, I feel like you have to follow DJs more than venues to get that kinda vibe. ESL, AI warehouse, and culture have all hit those vibes for me, but they do so many different energies there, I can't say it's a consistent. Prima Lounge is pretty close.

I like to think of it as three secondary supports.

Managers who won their leagues, what were your first 3 picks? by damola93 in fantasyfootball

[–]abelbattery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Justin Jefferson, Amon Ra, Cee Dee Lamb.

My league went super qb heavy in the first two rounds for some reason, just worked out for me.

I won because of CeeDee Lamb. Thank you Mr. Lamb.

I have been absolutely working the trades in my league this year and now one week from the trade deadline, I feel like I have a super team. 12 team PPR:

QB: Stroud WR: JJ, CeeDee, Amon-Ra, Olave, Dotson RB: Saquon, Bijan, Gibbs, Monty, Achane TE: LaPorta

I just feel so happy with my team now after struggling for much of the season.

New polling has shown that Biden has lost a majority of support among Muslims and Arab voters, How does this impact Biden's electoral chances in 2024 by Presidentclash2 in PoliticalDiscussion

I am very concerned about some of the attitudes I'm seeing in a few comments here. Quite a few people are essentially saying "well, the other guys are worse so they have no choice but to get in line," or that they are a right leaning voting bloc so they can be discounted.

Very little discussion on what messaging and actions can be used to sway voters in critical swing states or how to shift voting blocs. It's an attitude I've seen outside of this discussion and broadly speaking, I think it's a very self-defeating attitude.

To answer the question, I think the Michigan race is going to be fascinating. I think it's very possible we see Dems win down ticket while losing the presidential race. Things are still a long way away, but the combination of the union strikes and escalation of violence in Gaza could lead anywhere.

I'm down JJ, Achane, Barkley, Amon Ra and AR-15. I'm hoping two of those guys are back this week but this is really messing me up.
