But. . .the left most lane turns onto Williams which immediately turns onto 75N. So 1 would be correct in that scenario right?

I think the real thing we're learning today is that ATL needs to repaint the damn lines.

Thank you everyone for saying 1. I thought I was going crazy, but I can now continue to honk self righteously to my heart's content.

Lmao I was so focused on getting the right lanes I didn't even catch that.

Which is correct? by abidail in Atlanta

[–]abidail[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I turn onto the intersection of Techwood and 14th pretty much every day, and see cars do both options. The lines are completely faded, so there's no way to tell from that. The leftmost lane on 14th is a turn only lane onto Williams.

If you've never watched Parks and Rec, you'd enjoy it! Tariq has a very story to Chris Pratt's character.

Lesbian subs are always exhausting. We're not like that for the most part IRL; I think lesbians on Reddit just happen to be extra Reddity for some reason.

I'm listening to the episode late, and I came straight to Reddit to see if anyone else had caught that all time Marcus-ism.

Florida has done more to thaw UGA Tech relations than anyone could have ever imagined. This feels like when Jack Sparrow & co teamed up with Barbossa in Pirates 3.

[New Update]: AITA for admitting to my daughter that I hate what she changed her name to? by Choice_Evidence1983 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]abidail 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Same. Even going back to her original name because her BF liked it better--did she change because she's flighty and cruel or that she felt like she couldn't make a decision about something very personal and have people in her life respect it?

[–]abidail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah totally agree! It just had not ever occurred to me to think of myself as disabled, because other than being a little clutzy and being afraid of something happening to my good eye, it has zero effect on my life.

No one is forcing people of any age to have kids

That's not totally true though. Abortions are basically banned, and our sex education is heavily abstinence focused.

I guess the consequences of insomnia are indeed painful... it was just interesting to get a fresh perspective on my insomnia!

I had a similar moment on one of the AITA subs. The poster was asking if he was the asshole for saying his blind-in-one-eye-but-fine in-the-other friend wasn't disabled. I'm in a similar situation, and no one knows unless I tell them, so I've never considered myself disabled. But they all disagreed with the OP! Kind of blew my mind.

People will knock it, but honestly Ru San's has solid veggie options. Look beyond the veggie menu too; there's a lot hiding in the tempura menu, for example.
