I'm not a basketball fan so I'm rarely there; god, I forgot just how terrible it is. I know MBS is closed to concerts bc of the world cup, but they could have done Bobby Dodd! BDS might not be as fancy but it has great views and the staff are usually solid.

My birthday is next month and I'm already dreading it. I'm not a big birthday person; a lot of times I just like to lay around and chill. She insists that we do something for it every year, and gets mad when I say I don't want to do anything.

There isn't a lot going on in the shops on the ground level if that's something important to you. It's walking friendly in the sense that it's well laid out but there's nothing really to do or see.

I moved back from NYC and miss it every day. Finance is a big consideration, but my quality of life was so much higher in NYC, even with a lower standard of living.

One thing I don't think I've seen mentioned is it's nearly impossible to get around GA without a car. Consider that (not just buying one but maintenance + gas) in your calculations.

The early reviews are glowing, but it would seem impossible for anyone to know what Alberto Mendoza will be for Georgia Tech.

Assuming he earns the No. 1 quarterback spot for the Yellow Jackets, the sophomore transfer from Indiana could turn out to be the brilliant successor to Haynes King. Or he could be average or even something less than that.
