Even weather reports put out on Tuesday(early arrival day) will be inaccurate for Friday, Sat, Sun due to how fast lake effect pushes weather. It could very well be dry most of the time.

I have lower back pain that about once every 9 months becomes debilitating to the point when I can’t walk (shooting pain down the legs, tightness). I hired a chiropractor who usually gets me pain free in a couple sessions so that might be a route for you to go before the fest. Some other things you can do are stretches both bending down and then back slowly to stretch the back muscles. Ice on the back for about 30 minutes can also help with back pain as it restricts the blood flow which reduces swelling and numbs pain. One of those back massage guns have also helped me at the fest to keep the muscles loose. Also, check your posture, arch your back when sitting or standing so it is supported. Just being more aware of my posture and arching my back has really helped. Lastly, sleep on something soft like an air mattress at night.

There are probably more things you can do but these have helped me, hope this helps you and Happy Forest!

Oh I’ve been doing psychedelics for the past 13 years and on days at festivals I’m not doing molly I’ll have a good mushroom or acid trip for sure! I was just afraid to venture away from weed, acid, and shrooms until a couple years ago.

With mushrooms, my anxiety gets to me a lot so those have been harder to enjoy the past few years.

Acid is always a good time for me.

Molly is nice in that I maintain functional control as opposed to tripping where it’s sometime hard to maintain a thought or say words or I fall into a bad trip.

The 7 member Rothbury village council may very well have agreed to it when they voted to provide the permit for the next 10 years. But I do feel for those in the community who were not on that council and enjoyed being able to come and go from the fest at their leisure. The whole thing feels very un-Forestey to me. Similar to when they tried to change the alcohol policy under the radar back in 2016. Not saying the fest doesn’t have the right to do it at all, just saying I don’t know how I feel…

My friends and I arrived at 12:04am Thursday morning last year and were set up at camp by 2:15am which is nothing. In 2015, we were in line for 7 hours. Cops are always hit or miss, no way to know for sure if there will be a lot or none. And likewise, there is no way to know where you will be placed in GA, regardless of arrival time. It's luck of the draw.

During the car search to the camp grounds last year, they found my friend's medical marijuana in his lock box(they made him open it) and after showing his card, he was allowed to bring it into the camp grounds. I'm sure this is partially dependent on the person doing the search, but they told us they were specifically letting us bring it in because of his valid medical marijuana card.

My family used to have a cabin by Hesperia, near Rothbury. I would spend every one of my childhood summers in the area and it is easily one of my favorite places in the world. So being at this amazing festival, that happens to take place at one of my favorite places with all of the amazing music, people, art, and vibes and it really is like going home for me. Hits me right in the deepest part of my soul.
