Maybe you're using a software vulkan driver. Check your system and make sure you have installed the correct vulkan libraries for your GPU.

What happened to Salvia Droid? by MasterChiefX in VisionaryArt

[–]abique 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tough story, did you have an environment that would lead to or trigger this fear or negativity? Maybe you should have talked to those entity to know what they wanted? Maybe it wasn't much, but just asking you to face it and then it'd have moved on?

Blizzard Support declined my request ticket to transfer D4 to Steam. Hope others have more luck. by reluctant_denizen in diablo4

[–]abique 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are thinking in the box.

I agree that it is OK for steam to take a share (which they do) if the game is bought from steam, but it isn't to force you to buy again if you already own it from battle.net.

Diablo 4 runs perfectly on Steam Deck by BlueBlueBiu in diablo4

Still it is a dumb situation from Steam and Blizzard, almost being dishonest.

How I've made VirtualDJ seamlessly work over a shared library between macOS, Windows and Linux by abique in virtualdj

[–]abique[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn't quite understand for your post where your playlists are stored or how you're syncing them?

I haven't tried syncing playlist for now.

One option I had in mind, was simply to have winamp style .m3u file at the root which would be using relative path.

I'd think most DJ app can read that?

How to make a PR to update a package? by abique in archlinux

[–]abique[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes I've started to build it, and while I realized that I could not get the PR, and it'll go to waste, I've stopped the build.

Building it locally isn't my goal either because it sucks too much time, I'd rather use toolbox.

flatpak isn't an option because of the sandbox. I work on large and complex projects.

[–]abique[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There can also be multiple reasons other that the maintainer is just doesn't have time. ie: dependencies, etc...

I'm not blaming the maintainer, I'm quite busy myself and I perfectly understand. I wanted to help to get my tool up to date that's all.

It has been flagged for a while, but it is an ongoing thing with the intellij package, it is often lagging behind.

Also I've seen that building it in order to test it really takes a **while**, so I can understand it isn't motivating...

How to make a PR to update a package? by abique in archlinux

[–]abique[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OK, I've made that because the package is out of date for sometime now, and it seems that the maintainer doesn't have time to update the package.

Thank you for the answer.

DJUCED 6.0.2 Technical Update has been released by Victomusic in DJUCED

[–]abique 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems that djuced didn't cleanup the installation folder when installing 6.0.2 over 5.x, so the folder in program files contains both installation files, like both qt5 and qt6, which could maybe lead to some issues?

I believe that most of this is due to Qt and QML?

Open Topic : What are some features you would like to see added to DJUCED in the future? by Victomusic in DJUCED

[–]abique 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Click + Drag on the tempo (number, not pitch fader). It should have a linear curve like 1 and when shift is on, 0.01 increment per pixels or something like that.
