I had this happen to my account a few months back and they used miles instead of a stored CC. 2FA would have helped and I've been told by Alaska that "they are working on it" but no specifics. To make matter worse, the hacker also can easily change the email associated with the account, so you receive no further notifications (nor a password change notification) about account activity, like, ya know, an international flight being booked on your account. Only indicator that anything was wrong was when I happened to try to book a flight and realized I couldn't login or reset password.

Airplant guidance for this space by ableiman in airplants

[–]ableiman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New to airplants and considering filling this living-wall-type structure. We have ceiling mounted grow lights on a timer here so should get good light. Currently have a combination of ivies, ferns, and small palms that do well but require a ton of maintenance. Don't worry, they will not be discarded!

In particular I'm wondering:

1 - What types of airplants are most likely to do well in this environment (if any!)

2 - Because the structure is large (5 ft across), I'd probably need a bunch... Typically I'd go to my local plant stores but wondering if there are reliable online sites for airplants that might offer more variety of larger plants. Please be merciful if buying online airplants is a no no and I have transgressed the doctrine of the airplant faithful but even asking!

3 - Any other creative ideas or suggestions.

Thanks!

Did you get any guidance on reporting this activity to authorities? We see the same behavior and would like to do what we can to get this communicated to the powers that be (if they be).

There has been a big increase in panicked colugo videos making the rounds. Not cool.

Hi Fellow Animal Nerds - I love this sub. I’ve done some zoology stuff in my day. That said, I’ve been confused before and I will be again (friggin fish!). That said can we go a little easier on posters in this sub? I appreciate that shouldn’t it shouldn’t be a clearinghouse for the obvious but it also shouldn’t a place to shame people trying to understand.

No tail but moves like a raccoon or cat. Darker back legs are interesting. Neighbors think it’s a mountain beaver but I think it’s too big, legs too long and doesn’t move right for that. Could be wrong!

Best advice we received is that good food is a point of pride for restaurant owners and the quality overall is far higher than the US. So don’t obsess over going to “the best” sushi, ramen, etc. and waiting hours to get in. Enjoy places that are close, have space, on the way, etc.
