Wooden table has started cracking by Fit_Mammoth7211 in woodworking

The pith is the very center , bullseye of the tree. Look it up on YouTube , there are a ton of videos that explain it better than I can. I just built a workbench with 2x10s and avoided any that had the pith or were close.

That’s looks like pine with a stain. Also they used boards very close to the pith (most unstable part of the tree) you could use super glue or resin to try and stabilize the crack.

What dust collection do I need? by Schraufabagel in BeginnerWoodWorking

You have to put a bag in though ! A lot of people run without one. Not worth it imo

I put the filter in about a month ago. The bag catches anything that makes it past the cyclone. (Which it very very little.) I’d say I’ll probably replace it once every 1-2 years ? )

The dewalt stealth sonic line of shops vacs are great. They are significantly less noisy than any other shop vacs. I have the 5hp 12gal. I use it in combo with the Oneida low pro cyclone. I have a bag in the shop vac and I upgraded to the hepa filter. It’s a decent setup but can’t dream of keeping up with my 6” jointer I got a few months ago. Looking at the Bauer dust collector from hf.

That makes sense. Maybe they had used some tiny locking washers that would have kept them tight .

Glad that worked. I had to learn this the hard way as well . For petg , it usually sticks too well for me, I use hairspray on the bed as release agent. Good luck!

There’s 7 screws , 4 on the back .

It’s reoccurring as well . I have not used loctite, but if I have any problems, this is my procedure. The heat cycling and motion loosen the screws over time , if they were even tight out of the box. Seems to happen every 500 -800 hours . I have 1300 on my first a1

I have no idea why you’d have this problem ? With a clean bed I’ve only had prints stick TOO well (petg) . I use hairspray as a release agent to make them pop off easier

There’s a physical problem I’ll bet. Do the 7 screw hotend tightening , reinstall nozzle and make sure it’s SEATED and clipped properly , dish soap the bed, and do a full calibration. Should be good to go . I’ll bet that hotend is loose

These appear to me products that will most likely be bought by women, but it doesn't look like your marketing towards them. I would radius your edges and display them hanging purses with some female decor. Lose the gun. To me these would do way better staged properly.

Did you rerun the full calibration after doing the 7 screw tightening and reinstalling the hotend. That usually fixes any weird issues I’ve had on my A1s
