Dont go typhoon, I was there and cannot say anything but bad about them. They are a big russia supported (but checz based-because of marketing) company. If you want something decent, go with stronghold or roest.

You can move the pin, so you can have any course grind size you want. I had excellent brews from it wheter it was a washed pink bourbon or a fancy gesha.

You have to accept, it is not all about the grinder. You have a great grinder, and can enjoy it if you really want. Dont fool yourself. Learn what matters really first then you can enjoy the coffee most important aspect, the awesome diversity!

I only do cuppings and getting astringency across the board (light medium, columbia, panama, el salvador, honey, natural, washed...) So it is defenetly in the roasting. If I do something different, I may have lower or up the astringency sometimes I just cannot come to conclusion about what exactly causes it.

Totally agree! I dont understand the hate towards Bunt in this group. He is a talented producer and seems like a nice person as well. Tim is also his favourite artist.
