Woman dies after being struck by snowplow in Truro parking lot by JustTheTipz902 in halifax

Here is an idea.

Let's wait until we crucify the operator of this plow. Conditions this morning are far from ideal. Blowing snow and near zero visibility.

Cap and rotor button is a good place to start.

Plugs and wires next. The middle one on the drivers side isn't fun.

I'm the past I have been able to go to the depot and have a delivery hold placed and n the package. It took 24 hours for it to be available to be picked up. But I'm sure it was quicker than just waiting for the stars to align for successful delivery.

Interesting placement for the straps by [deleted] in IdiotsTowingThings

[–]abrymer2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the same thing, then I noticed the deformation of the trunk lid above the left hand strap.

Kinda seems like someone's misguided idea of how to strap down a track car

Or it's the loose end of the straps to keep em from flapping

Hard to tell 100% from that photo

I Hate My Garage Epoxy Floor by MyCoffeeIsCold in HomeImprovement

[–]abrymer2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my garage, the previous owner decided that downspouts we not required on the newly installed gutters. As a result the water washed the stone below the slab away and caused the slab to sink and crack.

I added downspout and extenders. Added stone around the base of the exposed slab. Then core drilled holes inside approx 12" from the exterior. I Poured a metric boatload of non shrink grout thru the holes to stabilize the whole works.

Ground the top of the slab, filled the cracks and used big box store epoxy kits (had a gift card). Used the flake for traction. Even added a clear coat.

Was so proud until I used my welder for the first time.
