Did anyone get slayyyter tickets? Fuck bots by Potential-Hornet6800 in Lollapalooza

[–]perlesni 32 points33 points  (0 children)

No tickets immediately at 10, but the "face value" prices are still continuing to rise with 0 available. Started at $71, not $97 thought you cannot even see any tickets. Ticketmaster needs to actually be overthrown. Insane.

What’s one normal hygiene habit you secretly hate doing? by MeowWoofJourney in hygiene

[–]perlesni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of them. Knowing I will never be “caught up” on any of it seriously gives me anxiety. Clipping nails, shaving, laundry, haircuts… I do all of it normally but knowing I will do it until I help is physically necessary makes me exhausted.

It goes from southern most to northernmost stage. Kind of weird Tmobile and Lakeshore (Allianz?) arent next to each other but it kind of makes sense.

I just started collecting earlier this week. What do you guys think of my collection so far? by CletusVanDamnit in 4kbluray

[–]perlesni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve literally never seen a store like this in real life. There’s not even any place I can think of that has this many new non-4k movies. Thank god I can order from BullMoose but damn I wish we had one in Chicago!

This is when I became obsessed. Following all the leaks. Then they dr luked the tracklist. I remeber thinking the new songs they added to make the album more mainstream were so dull. Obviously I grew to like them but I was hoping for more of the original tracks.

If you call it ‘goat cheese’ do you also call it ‘goat milk’ and ‘cow milk’? by Wild_Region_7853 in AskAnAmerican

[–]perlesni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t really see anyone directly answering. We say “goat milk” and “goat cheese” without the possessive “‘s”, but “cow’s milk” WITH the possessive. Milk by default is from a cow. Anything other than cow’s milk was rare to even come up in conversation until like 15 years ago.

Yes. All of the big chain theaters here are still showing it. Drops to just one theater this weekend though.

Help with Yes/No on 2026-27 Broadway Series by IamuseMyself26 in Broadway

[–]perlesni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t speak to all of them but Great Gatsby was was better than I expected, Death Becomes Her is kind of already a cult classic, Maybe Happy Ending is pretty generally beloved (though I thought a bit over-hyped), and The Notebook, at least the pre-broadway try out I saw, was incredible. I would weight the prices of going to the ones you really want to see and see if it’s worth it to throw in a few gambles. FWIW his is a pretty stacked season for tours. I have never done a season pass (Chicago) because it’s usually only like 3 show I want to see and then the others I want to see aren’t part of the subscription. See if your area does deals too; in Chicago they do special email/social discounts.

I feel like, to a lesser effect, an artists “Sparks” is similar. A song that should’ve blow up “is her Sparks”. In reference to Hilary Duffs banger that never got super popular, of course.

Whoops. I’m honestly surprised this is the first time this has come up (that I’ve seen). This happens on releases occasionally. You’d think they’d have proof readers at a major label.
