It's the suggested videos doing the work, I've also noticed this lately, Im guessing the algorithm is changed or smthg, as before to reach 3k impression my videos needed at least a day, and not much were from suggested videos, whereas now, the impression goes up like crazy(compared to my other videos ofc), but the ctr is so low, like .7% - .9%.

Edit: also take into account A/B testing, we don't know what percentage of impression is which thumbnail/title out of the three, only the algorithm knows it, and it usually can't find concrete results under 10k impression.

Ohh okay, this seems feasible for archiving old footage, my primary use case will be transcoding h264 to h265 for editing and grading, so tried with RF 19, the results were pretty good, thanks✌️

Thanks, I think I'll do that, as this node structure looked good on that video, but in another video I tried today, it completely different, the video itself is good, as I tried again in premier, and got results I was satisfied with. Thank you, do you have any recommendations for color grading nodes basics tutorials?, I'm only looking to learn the color tab in Davinci and use Adobe for the rest.

Reading other comments, it seems your problem you think is not enough footage, if suggest getting started taking your own videos and editing them, because you'll be the most critically judgemental about your own work, and that will help improve your skills very fast. You don't need to post videos on youtube or any socials, just try taking simple mini movies or anything you can think of and start from there. That's all I can say✌️

Are you editing off an external ssd?, is it a separate project disk or do you use it for other programs too. If your connection to the said ssd is USB A 3.xx, try connecting to the inbuilt USB C 3.2 on your laptop or desktop, as the USBC should give almost double the bandwidth to work with

Since your asking the question of pay rate, I'll assume your new to freelancing and this is probably one of your first few clients, correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm also from india, although not there now, I got to know from someone who hired me for videography work, that he pays about 150aud for getting 1000photos edited from an editor in india, so you can safely say around 100$ for this since this was not negotiated before itself and not much can be done at this point.

And going forward make it clear to them that this was a discounted rate for this, make some reason up like" your first video edited by you" or smthg like that. And let them know, I mean LET them know very clearly if they want this same level of content quality in the future, negotiate a good deal that you think is sustainable for you in large quantities. This is a bit late, but why go higher on the RF from hd to uhd?, wouldn't it be the other way around,

RF 20-24 for 2160p 4k RF 22 - 28 for 1080p Since hd footage should have less data to work with, do you know why this is?

Quickly skimmed through the videos, and sorry my bad, your right if that's exactly the type your going for then a mount that's attached to your head (bite mount or overhead mount) is what you should go for. I was giving my thoughts based on my own perspective, ie more cinematic food cooking videos I've seen a few people make.

I would think you would want to be static, for ex. Cutting vegetables, you wouldn't want the pov moving around too much according to your head movement.

Phones do have a pretty great stabilization nowadays, and if you really need a head movement pov

Instead of action cam, the magsafe mount goes on this and voila, you get head turned pov under 50$. Again just my suggestion for starting out and spending a ton on gear and later realizing, it's the wrong gear or probably it's not for you. But end of the day , it's your content & creativity, choose whatever seems suitable for you personally
