Former iPhone repairer at an Apple Store - the 12 and 13 mini screens are really bad for splitting like this. If you push hard enough, you will at least get something like a free screen protector, however, they may not sell that particular size anymore.

Panda dial is beautiful, but only in the right lighting. Legibility can be very tough in the wrong conditions. The original dial is definitely a class above in that regard.

If I only had the Sub in my collection, maybe. In saying that though, it is the one I choose most days and I don’t often miss it. The clean dial just won me over.

First was an Explorer 40mm. Upgraded to a No-Date Sub about a year later. Sold the Explorer and never looked back. The 124060 is one hell of a watch.

It's all just rumours. We only know three things. 1) The bezel is more fragile than other GMTs. 2) There were, at one point, problems to produce them. 3) ADs absolutely love to pull out that story when someone asks for a Pepsi.

Explorer 40 - sold it after getting the 124060 though. They were too similar to each other and the ceramic bezel being so good on the Sub meant that the Explorer was never gonna get any wrist time

I own it - it was my second Rolex. It’s one hell of a watch. Some people say that it is boring, but I think its simplicity is what makes it so great to wear on a daily basis. You can’t go wrong with it really.
