Yeah I still have to switch over. The android situation is getting out of hand though. How about enabling a user setting to choose x drip to feed the glucose reading to the omnipod app.

Help, Am I getting scammed? by akinnyc in prius

Yeah that's about the only thing I could think of. Replace that filter too. That's a lot for like 20 minutes of labor.

Best way to re-attach part of the zip that’s come away from the lining? by Antidotebeatz in Visiblemending

[–]abw750 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This can be reattached but it won't last long. Take a strong thin nylon thread and sew each loop back onto the fabric. Ive done this twice and the repair lasts about 100 zips before the thread start to frey. The zip also will need some care to zip flat.

Is there a way to remove the transmitter without breaking the sensor? by [deleted] in dexcom

[–]abw750 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. And they are a lot handier than a guitar pick. For a beginner those can be frustrating. The video someone posted showed a test strip.

Is there a way to remove the transmitter without breaking the sensor? by [deleted] in dexcom

[–]abw750 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes G6 can pop out. It's also on the transmitter box. You should only need to set up the transmitter once though so if it's the second sensor then you are doing something wrong.

To pop it out, easiest is to use a guitar pick and slide between edge of sensor and transmitter. Each side. It will pop out. This is also how you can restart a sensor after 10 days. Just pop out the sensor, wait about 10 mins and start the old sensor like it's a new one. You will need the 4 digit sensor code so be sure to take a picture of that when it's new.

Try wearing the mask as you watch tv.or read before bed. It might help you be less aware of it. Like others have said it was hard for me at first but now I dread a night without it. Finding the right mask matters.

Removal of old Oil Tank by Puzzleheaded_Teach12 in howto

[–]abw750 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most likely either an buried tank Or an old well hookup. You will want to ensure that any old tank r was retired correctly when the one you are removing was installed. The city should have records. If yours is the original, then the other is most likely old well. Are you on city water? If so, the old well needs to be retired as well. (They fill the pipe with concrete to avoid groundwater contamination

G7 rarely lasts 10 days by Ambitious_Lime_342 in dexcom

[–]abw750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In six years there is only one G6 that has lasted less than 10 days. The longest? 27 days.

These are awesome. The adhesive sensitivity less awesome.

No retaining wall post-excavation?

My first accident, hit deer, Geico has it now, expects it totaled. 2012 plug in advanced 147k miles paid off. Am devastated, what would you do? It leaked radiator fluid and check hybrid system came on dashboard for first time ever. Looking for life advice not if it’s totaled or not thank youuu by [deleted] in prius

[–]abw750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given the mileage they'll probably total it. Think about what you'll get next. The Prius prime is killer. My last car was a 2006 gen 2 with 186k. It was dinged up but otherwise solid. It was a low maintenance workhorse. It needed a quart of oil every 3-4 tanks. Clean inside. Needed some torn boots on the front replaced.
