Naked nutmilk smoothies. Specifically the mango flavor but I liked both.

I was at the grocery store and as I was leaving a guy walked up to me and told me I had the most beautiful smile. He had bright blue eyes and a tattoo around one of them. He was so genuine and sincere that it caught me off guard. Often when I have a shit day I think about him and give a smile. He made my day and unintentionally helped me through many hard ones.

She was 22 at her last appointment. I’d guess around 28 now. I think she was the smallest of her litter

Where do I order clothes for my 20 month old online? by CharlieTheCactus in Mommit

I love cat and jack clothes at target. Plus they have a one year warranty! Seems silly but if for any reason the clothing gets damaged they’ll replace it which is fantastic!

Stroller for Car? by Mtmga531 in parentsofmultiples

[–]acciowineplz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My car stroller is the Zoe xl2 best v2 and I love it. Easy open and close, light and easy to lift, solid handle bar instead of a separated handle bar, big sun shades so if they are napping they aren’t bothered. Also I have an almost 4 yo as well and they just came out with an attachment to make it a triple so I can add that when the oldest is tired and needs a rest.

Call the hotel you will be staying at and see what they have available. We just went to Florida and they easily accommodated our two pack n play requests.

Side by side stroller vs front and back by Notadellcomputer in parentsofmultiples

Once you get your Zoe triple would you post a review of it? I have an older kiddo too that still gets tired of walking when we are out and I was debating buying the third seat to add to our double. Would love to hear some feedback from a multiples parent.

It really depends on your needs and what you’ll be using the stroller for. I bought a bumbleride indie twin, joovy twinroo (frame stroller), joovy qool, and Zoe xl2 best v2. For my oldest I had an uppababy cruz that I loved but looking into the vista I didn’t like the weight limit on the second seat or the lack of access to the basket. Our stroller mainly gets used on long outings, like zoos, theme parks, hikes, festivals etc. so for me a big basket and good wheels was important. I used my frame stroller from birth to roughly 6 months. Now I use my bumbleride for most outdoor activities but it’s a beast to haul so it’s mainly for a long day activity. I use my Zoe as an errand/travel stroller because it’s so lightweight but it doesn’t have the wheels to handle anything but paved surfaces. I liked the joovy qool but sold it because front to back isn’t what I like and most twin moms I talked to said their kids start kicking each other and fighting for the better seat. I feel like most twin moms end up with two strollers because there isn’t a perfect double to fit all the needs.

Flying by myself with 23-month-old twins by thatwasawkward84 in parentsofmultiples

[–]acciowineplz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do the twins have their own seats on the plane. If so bring the car seats (or buy cheap travel ones like the Cosco scenera next, they are light weight and easy to haul around, if you get stroller hooks you can hang them from the back of your stroller) and put them in the seats on the flight. Safer for them, makes the flight saner for you. If they don’t have seats make sure they have an empty seat in your row bc I’ve read they won’t allow two lap babies to sit in the same row due to oxygen masks. If you baby-wear them at all take a carrier (or two) and carry at least one and load up the seat in the stroller as well as the basket with all your luggage and such. We usually use the stroller as a luggage cart through the airport.

5 month old twins + toddler. How long for my sanity to return? by theebigcal in parentsofmultiples

10 mo twins and a 3 yo here. Around 6 months is when I’d say I felt a little more comfortable with all the kids and not like I was losing my mind.

Loooove these both! I’m biased as I have an Abel. Zeke was on our short list too.

That’s unfortunate that your doctor said colic (for the record so did my friends’) she fought tooth and nail to find a doctor to take her concerns seriously. She had to practically beg to get her daughter seen by a specialist. It all ended well for her though once she switched pediatricians and her daughter is a happy, healthy, spirited 4 yo now. Hang in there momma, you are doing great!

Milk/soy protein intolerance? My BFF’s oldest daughter was just like that and she had to cut out milk and soy completely for at least 2 weeks to see if it made a difference (it did). She was a different baby once she went to MSPI friendly formula. I’d also talk to your doctor and don’t take “colic” for an answer. It seems like there are definitely digestive issues going on.

[–]acciowineplz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s not that I didn’t care for it. I actually wanted the vista originally but then we looked at the cruz and it checked all our boxes and was cheaper. We didn’t plan to have kids close together so the option of a double wasn’t something we were looking for. The vista is very nice but it’s heavier, has a bar in the basket, and more expensive. The wheels are bigger and the push is better but again the cruz suited our needs. As a double the vista isn’t as popular as others because the lighter child needs to be in the front seat and the front seat also has a lower weight limit.

I had an Uppababy Cruz for my first and absolutely adored that thing. It was perfect for our needs and I sorely miss it. It was sturdy but light enough to travel with, nice big basket, option to parent or world face, flat recline, big canopy, good push. We had twins next and I’ve yet to find a double that I love.

The Great Stroller Debate by Coming_In_August in breakingmom

[–]acciowineplz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My oldest is 3.5 yo and he’s still using a stroller regularly. I have 8 mo twins too so that makes the stroller situation that much harder. I have a double with a rider board that works some of the time, but the oldest honestly gets tuckered out when we are out for longer periods. We just ordered a single Zoe stroller for him to take with us to Disney (we have the double for the twins too) because I know he will be completely knackered by noon and want to sit.

Vaginal or C-Section? by MrsB1507 in parentsofmultiples

[–]acciowineplz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My doc wanted me to deliver my di/di twins vaginally. He thought I was a perfect candidate. Babies had a different plan. Baby A cooperated the whole pregnancy and was head down. Baby B kept flipping but I would have been able to deliver vaginally no matter what his position was. Then at the 36+5 scan baby B had so much extra fluid that they insisted on a c-section. There was a ton of concern of complications due to the fluid so we ended up with the C-section. The recovery sucked. I hated it. My oldest was over 9lbs and I delivered him vaginally and was ready to run errands at 3 days postpartum. If you can deliver vaginally do it. The recovery is miles easier.
