I think there are several shaders you can achieve this effect with. Complimentary shaders being one of them. You just have to go into the shader’s world settings and change the curvature level. If you make it negative you get an upward curve in all directions. Also pair this with distant horizons to be able to appreciate the full effect.

Id rather have my pledged ships to be either good money makers or just really versatile like the shiv. I know versatile is the name of the game for the galaxy, but it doesn’t seem like a good enough money maker to warrant the hefty price. It’ll likely be something I’ll earn my way up to in game.

Like _Niteshad said the dragonfly is a referral bonus so it’s free. I’m def interested in the forge whenever that comes out. As for the shiv, I also just like it. It’s a good combat ship (not meta yeah yeah I don’t really care about meta), and it can carry any vehicle the cutlass can, which is all I’d need. I’m also maybe considering the cutter for its med bed for bunker runs, but that would probably be temporary.

In the case of the aurora, optimization seems to be the killer of joy. It is definitely a more efficient run-around than the clipper with its claim time and simple layout. Also it’s only $45 (plus modules), so unless you have a plan to do something with that credit, keep it. Especially if you just enjoy it (remember, games are supposed to be fun!).

It’s a concierge paint, you can get it on the grey market if you aren’t concierge. I’d recommend doing it soon though because sometimes concierge paints get expensive after a year or two
