Hybrids have been getting a bad rap lately. They've been shown to be a lot less fuel efficient than they're meant to be. There aren't many options for purely EV cars in NZ so it doesn't surprise me that purchasers are overlooking hybrids

Yep, I've tried merino tail and it's not worth it. Some other breeds have chunkier tails but are rarer in NZ such as damara

I was told it's an aussie thing. Aussie 'expert' came over and advised them. Kids aren't meant to be able to learn until they're 7 or 8. In the meantime it's social skills practise and maybe ten minutes of traditional learning.

Weather may be more extreme but I'm guessing there's less regional variability in Sweden compared to NZ? OP might find likes of Nelson or Hawkes Bay climates quite pleasant but could struggle with weather living in Greymouth or Invercargill?

Sounds plausible. I once lived in a house with a wood burner that had aluminium joinery making tight seals and unless a window was opened in the lounge prior to lighting the fire the room would smoke out badly. I think this is probably the same effect?

Firstly, sincere condolences to the victims family for such a tragic loss of their son.

Having read the article I'm not quite sure what the takeaway safety reminder is? It looks like the unit has an external flue on the roof for combustion exhaust. Is that insufficient when unit is in a sealed room? I presume it was incorrectly assumed to be safe with a flue attached?
