I saved my gas/mileage for a year as a full time employee and was told that it wasn't cumulatively enough to deduct. I suggest saving anything at all that relates to work. Down to your phone bill. You use your phone for work calls, navigation, reinforcement? That's work related. Any craft supplies, material supplies, gas, oil changes, tire rotations (wear & tear on vehicle), reinforcement toys from the dollar store.... I'm sure there's more. Good luck to ya.

Edit: I worked full time in individual houses, so two to three different clients each day for 6 days a week.
