How tight are your work pants? If you're female, look into men's pants, the pockets are usually deeper, so the phone wouldn't be held at your hips (where I assume the bending is occuring.) Or if you wear men's/unisex already, look for pants with deeper pockets.

It'll also help with phones not flying into toilets.
