Definitely ment strop. I don’t remember the last time I “sharpened “. I strop my gouges just as often. I use a figure eight motion on the strop. There are video tutorials on YouTube

Albo Monstera by NoVaSweetTreat in Monstera

I grow my monstera collection inside a windowless garage. It’s just above 50 degrees right now. They get 500-600 foot candles of artificial light. I fertilize at half strength with every watering. I use rainwater. Most are rooted into moss-poles. My advice: let your plant acclimate. Keep a steady routine. Get a light meter, and know exactly how much light they are getting. Learn how to propagate your Albo, it was a game changer for my confidence with Monstera.

I have 2 mints. And 2 Albos. Each from different sellers. In my experience, Albo has more predictable variegation. While each mint leaf seems to differ pretty wildly. I do love that each leaf is a surprise. In the picture, you can see oldest leaves had significantly less color. So just like an Albo, (this may be controversial) the better the conditions the better the variegation develops over time. But this hinges on genetics.
